  1. Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the sith

    RevengeoftheSithRegular.jpg

I'll start with some good points.

The opening scene with the battle above Coruscant. Love it, and once again Ewan McGregor was brilliant as Obi Wan. And that speech by Palpatine to Anakin about the power of the Dark Side and Darth Plagueis is probably my favorite scene out of all the prequels.

But again, the acting and dialog is horrendous at times .Also some of the character just seem pointless or shoehorned in, Take Grievous for example, who is he, what was the point in him, you learn nothing about his backstory, Where did he come from? He just seems like a token bad guy with no dept.

I'd much rather they didn't kill off Maul and not bother introducing either Dooku or Grievous

Anakin comes across as nothing more than a huffy VL

Its just an average film. Not really much more I can say

  2. I wonder why people had been more sympathetic towards Hearts...... Can't put my finger on it

Following the SFA judicial panel's decision to impose the transfer embargo on the club, its three members had their names leaked online.

They later received "abusive and threatening communication".

The club ambassador said that harsh penalties for Rangers would hurt other clubs but also said that he would be meeting with supporters associations ahead of action against clubs they felt had been unhelpful

It wasn’t Rangers Football Club, it was Craig Whyte who put us in this situation,” Jardine said.

The players did nothing wrong, the management of the club did nothing wrong, the supporters did nothing wrong and the staff did nothing wrong.

“Rangers are a special case mainly because of the size of the club within Scottish football and what it delivers.

“We’ll get a bit of pain, but everybody else is going to get a bit of pain too.”

“Out of that, the supporters will take sanctions against clubs which we deem have been unfair to ourselves.

  3. Even the transfer ban was very weak. It was billed as lasting 18 months. Effectively, it covered one window, that of January 2013. It didn't kick in until after summer 2012's window had closed and it was effectively got round in summer 2013, by the acquisition of 'trialists'. The price has been small - bigger than our game's authorities wished it, but small nonetheless.

The biggest moan from them about that was being unable to sign players, who would allow them to try and win a Scottish Cup / League Cup while in Div 2/3

It's also funny how much the MSM language has changed from they days

Sevco Scotland, which now owns Rangers' assets after the old club headed for liquidation, needs SFA membership

    .

The SFA announcement came on the day "The Rangers FC" were drawn at home to East Fife in the first round of the Scottish Communities League Cup
