  1. Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace

    Star_Wars_Phantom_Menace_poster.jpg

    5/10

It's just so average, very few memorable moments, some of the acting is horrific. None worse than the actress who played Anakin mum. The CGI hasn't dated very well either.

Thank f**k this wasn't the film wasn't the beginning to the saga, otherwise I doubt we'd have gotten the rest

Saying that, I do like McGregor and Neeson.

  2. What exactly was Mitchell saying? That erratic barometer of public outrage opinion, twitter, seems to have gone into meltdown over him. Wading through a load of usual stuff about "time to move on" there are also quotes about him saying the game shouldn't or can't be fair; the comparisons with Russia isolation; the reconciliation of France & Germany after WWI; Hearts and 'Well were as bad; and fans "live in cloud cuckoo land"?!

  3. So from tonights show. Draw the line and move on because:

ONeill, McCall, Lambert said its OK, dont worry about it.

We only want punishment for bragging rights.

    ONeill said its fine.

There is worse corruption out there we should think ourselves lucky.

ONeill is happy, so just forget about it.

The National team is failing, so get Sevco up to the top League.

Scottish Football is losing to Molde and Malmo so get Sevco up.

ONeill doesnt want a winners medal so all you diddies shut the ★★★★ up

Juventus have titles stripped, but claim them anyway by using the phrase "won on the pitch" in their honours list. Sevco will do the same, so for the last time DIDDIES SHUT THE **** UP.

    Absolute disgrace tonight.

Him scoffing at the idea other people are upset for spending thousands of pounds to follow Scottish football when it turns out 1 of the team had been cheating was particular hard to swallow

If that is the attitude, you have to wonder why anyone bothers with football at all

  4. There are thousands upon thousands of Rangers fans.

Does anybody know of any - apart from Spiers - who think it would be better not to keep the titles?

There must be some who are a bit embarrassed by it all. There must be some who would rather not have titles which are at the very least tarnished, in so many eyes.

The chance to bay at the moon about 54 titles can't really be that important to absolutely all of them, can it?

Has anyone honestly heard a contrite 'it's a fair cop Guv' attitude from any Rangers fans?

This is the fans who hate Murray for what he done to the club while giving it big lick for the trophies and achievements under his leadership

  5. My cars windscreen wipers decided to stop working on the M8. Pulled off at the next exit and realised my AA membership expired last month. No matter, just wait till it stops raining and get it to a garage.

Thanks to this shitty weather my car has been in Renfrew since last Thursday and will probably still be there until next March.

  6. Richard Wilson on the radio making a big deal about how Rangers thought that the EBTs as used were fine at the time, and how retrospective punishments are unacceptable.

Which kind of raises questions about why Rangers felt it necessary to conceal the terms of their contracts from the authorities in side-letters, then refused to comply with Hector.

It also makes me wonder what kind of punishments aren't "retrospective". They all are, aren't they? Even a red card is.

Haven't teams retrospectively been kicked out the Scottish Cup for administration mistakes despite "winning it on the park"

  7. So we have went from

"Liquidation would be the death of the club"

    CVA fails

"Liquidation isn't the death of the club, just a company

"You can't take our titles as we've been cleared of using EBT's"

HMRC wins appeals, defended illegal, judge noted without EBT, players might have went elsewhere

"We won they title on the park, EBT's had nothing to do with it"

Some turn around in the last few years

  9. UKIP on the brink of bankruptcy, according to various media outlets this evening. They're putting it down to dwindling membership and the withdrawal of key backers

Can't say I'm overly upset at the thought of Nigel Farage, looking an even bigger cock-socket than he already does.

  10. Times were different as were the laws and continuation was granted by the Court of Session, I believe, in 1907. The comparisons between both situations are as different as the appear similar, administration laws then appeared to much more simple than the complicated mechanisms we have in place today. One interesting thing from those times was the incorporation of club and company but that's another discussion for another day and has been covered many times on here. Anyhoo off to prepare for work tomorrow, hopefully the thread will continue on about the subject matter!

    Aye,

    But what about Leeds?
