  1. Is it Goldson or Lundstram that plays the basketball in the box?
  2. I see Soapy Souter is getting a game so there may be some joy for us there, the wee diving boy is playing so I don’t know how he will do. I have a concern with Blaney out at left back, always concerned about Tavernier coming down that side. I hope we play on the front foot, suck Rangers in and get in behind them.
  3. On the football, on Wednesday people were questioning SODs inclusion but he was up against Nouble who would likely have bullied the other options. I note the news about Montgomery but I had wondered if Gent in front of Devine on the left was in Kettlewell’s thoughts.
  4. The money would be for investment in a club in which the investors had a controlling interest. How detailed can the guarantees be?
  5. If an investor takes majority ownership do they ‘buy’ the 20+ % shares from the WS? Does that money go into the society funds? Do they need to buy my £200 of shares to take their holding up to the 50%, do I get that money? Is there any guarantee of money actually being invested in the club? The new guys now control things, they can spend money or not as they wish. Do the new investors use their own money or do they encourage the WS to transfer funds for the good of the club? Any investor is going to walk away after a period of time (five years, 10 years?), they will want an exit and will want their money back.
  6. I didn’t even consider looking for a ticket for this, I never do, will I miss a classic? I don’t even know half the names AJF mentions in his post.
  7. 3 teams, including Dundee have concede more
  8. We e had our chances but not hit the target - like Gent on Sunday, how hard is it to aim between the posts.
  9. Casey played a free kick along the back line and we got closed down then a goal. Nicholson playing the ball back all the time. Devine cutting the ball back to Davor rather than getting it in the box. SOD with the only good balls in but we don’t use him. We are too negative.
  10. Everyone around me was shouting for subs but the number of changes to accommodate those we made was counter productive. Big Bevis is limited but standing in the middle of a three and heading away balls is his thing, he also got in behind to cover the odd attack down the flanks. Leave him there, don’t confuse him. However I think the last 2 minutes is colouring the views of the performance which was largely good. Not good enough and no points but good. I hope the outcome doesn’t take it out of the team before Wednesday. A win would be excellent but a draw and some favourable other results wouldn’t be the end of the world. Surely Butcher won’t be risked on the carpet?
  11. I don’t disagree on the match but doubt that your logic was used in the selection.
  12. I was in San Juan for the Aberdeen game and out of WiFi contact between 0-2 and 2-3. I was aware it was 3-3 then knew nothing until the final score. I don’t think I felt the pain of others. Perhaps we extend this and let the season pan out before we look?
  13. On reflection I think we played well and it was an entertaining watch, we could have done better and although I am disappointed at losing a third goal our GD was largely protected which may be a factor later on. Ice baths all round and recover for Wednesday.
  14. We’ve lost our place at the top of the last minute goals league.
  15. Is Halliday another crock? Bringing him into the midfield would theoretically have bolstered us. Oli Shaw playing the Conor Wilkinson midfield mystery tour wasn’t effective, he would have been better playing up front and taking over the running from Bair.
  16. Every sub would have walked off the pitch thinking job done. As soon as we reorganised the defence we conceded a free kick on the edge of the box then followed that up with 2 goals. The changes were probably needed but just go like for like, it was working.
  17. We should have scored more in the first half, we had a free run at them time and again.
  18. I thought conceding a third was harsh however from memory it came from us throwing the ball back to the keeper putting him under pressure, self inflicted
  19. What time are folk going along today, 86 minutes has been the earliest goal in this fixture this season.
