  1. Quite a few spots in that match that went tits up.
  2. Does that mean this nonsense storyline is going to continue..?
  3. Really sums up how much of a shambles this is.
  4. Nothing like ripping the erse out of something
  5. Are they planning on having 30 in the ring at once, or are we going to get some eliminations eventually?
  6. Never mind every year, it's the second time in the last hour...
  7. I agree, which then brings us onto the potential problem of them probably not being sacked if they do deliver the title. And then being in charge of building a squad for the championship.
  8. The hope is Dunfermline are a decent championship outfit, not too decent right enough, as we weren't close second half. Based on not much I'm confident we'll score plenty in the league but that backline still gives me the fear if things get tight.
  9. YB - Great time. On a slightly different note were you a volunteer at one of the runs in early October? ------ Falkirk is off this week, in case anyone who was going to go didn't know. I managed to PB last week despite it being icy as f**k. Albeit by 1 second...
  10. Well done on the Mo Run guys! Excellent PB Disco Duck. After Loch Ness I told myself I was going to set a PB at Falkirk parkrun before my birthday, finally managed to do it on my final attempt. 20.45, knocking 11 seconds off my previous best, confident that I can clear that again. Hoping for 20.30 by the end of the year.
  11. Ziggy, thats a cracking time. I've done next to no running since Loch Ness, still not fit. I've volunteered at the last 2 Falkirk parkruns, hoping it run it next weekend since I at least managed a short run today.
  12. I think that's what put me off doing it last year. That and the ridiculous cost for entry, it's around 50 quid isn't it? Edit: Just seen the prices, I think that's a fair whack cheaper than it was last year.
  13. Aye, on the bus out to the start line , my mate said to me he didn't care how long it took him he was finishing. That thought was all that got me to the end, if he could finish I'll be damned if I couldn't. Buggered leg and back or not. My final mile (which took nearly 11 minutes, and was actually my fastest since the 12th!) was tougher than any of the sub 7 minute miles i've ever run. Full body is really sore today, as expected, but I'm pretty sure I've pulled my right quad and an abdominal muscle.
  14. A near 3 hour second half would suggest injury beat me! I just wasn't clever enough to jump in the medical car. Great time! Well done
  15. Sounds similar to a guy I work with. Must post at least once a week about how shite/boring facebook is, but then continues to post inane updates 5 times a day.
  16. I suppose I'm glad to say I have at least finished a marathon. Disappointing that injury beat me, but I guess this means I have to make amends next year
  17. Right leg completely siezed up halfway round the marathon yesterday, then everything else gave up a mile or so later. Not entirely sure how, or why, I finished...
  18. Nice one! I never got a place, which I'm pretty happy about. That'll no doubt change when I'm watching it on TV! Loch Ness mara tomorrow, I'm surprised how excited I am for this
  19. I decided to take it reasonably easy today with next week in mind. Still ran my 2nd fastest parkrun to date. It's a shame as the weather was absolutely perfect, I know I'd have PB'd if I have really went for it. Well done on the sub 20 Ziggy. How flat is the Strathclyde course? I need to get to one of the flatter ones to see if I can get anywhere near 20, because it's not happening anytime soon at Falkirk!
  20. Nice going, you'll sure be well inside 4 hrs if you can run 22 in 3.14. What was the longest you ran pre-marathon? And what time did you end up with? I done just over 20 on Monday, so thats my last long run before Loch Ness done. I'll be glad when it's all over in a couple of weeks time
  21. I hate that hill I've admitted defeat with it and run up it very slowly, trying to make up time everywhere else. At least you're a damn sight closer to 20 than I am, I've only just scraped under 21.
  22. 42.30ish for the 10k. Happy with the time but didn't think I ran particularly well.
