  1. Longmuir later retracted that statement and said that he would take the lead from the SFA and SPL. Would be a first though. I suspect that with the war that is breaking out concerning league reconstruction may put all that to the back burners. A good result for you today, although it pains me to say it.
  2. Please tell me that Green is being investigated by HMRC for tax evasion. If the story from rangerstaxcase is true then it will be one of the funniest things I have heard in this whole saga. Coupled with ICT thrashing Sevco at Ibrokes, Rangers FC being liquidated, then this will be a very humerous week. With much more to follow shortly! Ayr United 2002 League Cup Winners (default)
  3. I wholeheartedly agree. Now was there not supposed to be a decision on the 'Big Tax Case' in October? Getting mightily close to missing that deadline. Although if memory serves they didn't actually specify which year...... I hope this forum gets back on track soon. I am sure it will spice up about the middle of next month!
  4. Is it just me or does anyone else think that Whyte may have taped more than one conversation? I stronly suspect that Whyte wanted a pay-off from D&P and when it was not forthcoming he has released the two hour conversation. Anyone who has had dealings with Whyte in a public place must be feeling a bit....worried? Please let his next tape be one of him and Green. That would be very funny.
  5. Was there not supposed to be something from Lord Nimmo regarding the Dual Contracts stuff he was looking into? Last week I think, did I miss it or has no new information been given out? Nice to see another deadline pass away. Insert Sevco joke here!!
  6. To be fair to WRK he is a Killie fan after all and this is probably the most fun he has had since winning the League Cup last year. Or indeed the only fun! I make only a few posts here but I am always keeping an eye on the latest goings on. Some of the tripe which passes for banter on here does irritate, but is always tempered by the knowledge that just round the corner is another beauty from Chuckie, HMRC or anyone of a plethora of peopleor organisations. I personally am glad that you can acknowledge people without resorting to silly name calling. I also await the latest revelations regarding your team, because franky, my own mob are so poor that you would probably beat us at Somerset Park!
  7. Please send Ryan back to Ayr, if Hearts can't pay him, by God we need him. Or rather anyone. Except Kevin Kyle.
  8. Him and Kevin Kyle, who was howling last night. For the 21 mins he was on, that is.
  9. At least a bit of honesty from Bendarroch. He deserves a bit of respect for putting his head above the parapit. Unlike certain others who are conspicuous by their absence, eh Tedi?
  10. Can i just say: ha ha ha ha ha ha! Now please stop the triumphalistic nonsense from the sevco fans. you are damned lucky to be playing anywhere, savour your victories and accept your defeats.
  11. Personally I have never liked Roger Mitchell much, I though the SPL would be the death knell of Scottish football. However this is a belter of an article and addresses many points far more eloquently and with much more authority than most on here. Well done Roger. (God I never, ever thought I'd say that).
  12. I could not agree more. To recalculate the leagues would be futile. They should be awarded to the team who finished runner up. Similarly the cups should be awarded to the losing (cheated?) finalist. Where teams have been beaten in the earlier rounds of the cup by Rangers (for that was their name then), then these clubs do have a claim against the SFA as they clearly did not apply their rules fairly across the board. Whether any team would want to make this claim, I would be doubtful. What really would be the point. If it is found that Rangers have administered the EBT scheme unfairly and/ or given out secondary contracts (against the SFA rules) then titles and cups should be retrospectivly awarded to the runner-up in that competition. The SFLs Longmuir has already stated that he is 'comfortable' with Sevco continuing record of honours. This will make what happens with the (allegedly) guilty having trophies stripped by the SFA (scottish Cup) and SPL (SPL titles). I would suspect the the SFL would then about face and remove the League cups too. My interest in this is the 2002 League cup final which I have already posted about, regarding 9 of the starting 11 being on EBTs, of these 6 had side letters. I watched that cup final as did many fellow Ayr fans, until this EBT thing blew up I had no idea that the majority of their team that day should not have played, as they were illegally registered, (to be confirmed by independent panel). I can only hope that whatever the outcome, if there is no guilt then fine, but if their is guilt then these throphies must be listed as: withdrawn at least.
  13. Thank you for your apology, as it has been said it takes a big man to do that. I have no axe to grind, but as a football fan for some decades now this has been the biggest/ worst thing to have happened to the game I love.
  14. Thank you Bennett for a reasoned reply. Do you know if he asked to go or was he told he wasn't in McCoist's plans? If its the first then fair enough. If its the second then I am surprised.
  15. Ok Kinky, now I have tried to be objective and have rarely (if ever) abused anyone on this thread. Now my point was not that Broadfoot has left/ going to leave. It was that if McCoist needs to get in '4 or 5 players' as he said after the sorry performance against Berwick, then why is he allowing a player who is a seasoned professional and has rangers in his heart (and across his neck), to leave? Broadfoot is by no means a first team regular but as a squad player he is an asset, will the next journeyman? What I am saying is something doesn't add up. Personal abuse is for the emotionally incompetent.
  16. If McMoist is correct and Sevco are short of bodies and need to brin in '4 or 5 players' as he said after scraping a draw with Berwick, then why has he allowed Broadfoot (admittedly not naturally gifted) to go from the squad? I could demand clarity etc but that would be pointless. If I was a Sevco fan I would be nervous of de-javu.
  17. Bendarroch, I am sure you will have noticed that the SPL has partially paid its debts (not all the amount, but some) Now when will Sevco or Chuckie do the same? Its really a fairly easy question as the five party agreement, agreed that 'all footballing debts' must be paid. Not I am sure just the Scottish football ones (minus Dundee United, although it seems to be really unclear who is liable in that case.) Ayr United pay their debts and have paid the price (ie really, really crap players) for years. Our pals up the road are going through some pain but are paying off their debts, albeit slowly. Remind us all, did Rangers (IA/IL) pay their debts?
  18. I am sure that Rapid Vienna, Arsenal , Man City and all the rest (non-Scottish) fottball teams will be delighted to know that Sevco/ ZombieRangers can now afford to pay for players. Remind me Sevco fans, when is Chuckie going to pay those? Brass neck doesnt even cover it.
  19. The trophy re-allocation should be a simple enough affair. Employ the same issues as other sports, eg. Ben Johnson did not have his first round and semi final annulled, all that happened was his name was removed from the records and Carl Lewis awarded the Gold and so on. Every club Rangers had beaten on the road to the finals should be able to stake a claim against the governing authority (for not implimenting the rules properly) and the trophy awarded to the runner up with a walkover. It has happened in the past in the cups. Equally as you have said the leagues can be reawarded by reallocating the points Rangers won. I am actually unsure whether it is really worth the exercise though. I for one will treat the 2002 league cup as ours by default. It is for others to decide whether they are re-awarded. However given the monumental incompetence of the SFA/SPL and (to a lesser extent) SFL, I have little faith of them actually removing anything. To my mind the only people who will win out of this are lawyers and playground numpties.
  20. One of the things this thread has shown me is just how fans of rival clubs (Ayr and Ki**ie, Morton and St Mirren etc) can actually unite around a common topic. This is not blind hatred of Rangers/ Sevco etc, although I do concede that many Celtic fans may really detest Rangers/ Sevco. What we have found is that the scale of the corruption at Rangers/ Sevco has been on a level not seen before in Scottish football. Some Rangers/ Sevco fans will say that only Whyte is to blame and that no-one else could see what he was doing. Then what exactly were the board of directors doing to earn their high salaries? Serious questions need to be asked by the Rangers/ Sevco fans. Onto Minty, the exact same questions needs to be asked of his directors. Was no-one aware of what was going on? surely someone would have been aware that something untowards was going on, or am I being thick? Can it be an excuse that since the EBTs were in the published accounts then thats OK, as some Rangers fans plead? To clarify, again, EBTs are not illegal it is how they are used that is in question. The tax man has said they were illegally used and asked Rangers to pay, this is not in question, it is the amount that Rangers wanted to pay which is being appealed. It is astonishing that they continued to be used even after Celtic paid the Junhino EBT (and they should not be allowed any titles that this was in operation), and after Arsenal paid the taxman back. Minty would have been aware of this, and yet he chose to ignore the warning signs. Now Green comes in and spouts some crap about 'bigotry', claps his hands at some song and shales hands with the fans buying season tickets. As far as I am aware he has not answered many questions that sensible fans are asking (see Bendarroch or Bennetts posts). He has (and continues to) spend very big in a very small division. True he is hampered by having to keep Sally (the worst manager in Rangers/Sevco history). Who knows what will follow but I cannot see it being good. This summer has been the most fractious and devisive summer of football in my 45 years on this planet and I suspect next will be equally as bad. And as an Ayr fan can I say that the reason I am so annoyed with Rangers/ Sevco is the number of players Rangers had employed in the 2002 cup final on EBTs, nine of the starting eleven and two of the five subs, means that Ayr were cheated that day. This is only the one final I had an interest in (as WhiteRoseKillie will acknowledge, we were not in any others, so far). The other finals I leave to other fans to look up.
  21. Seriously, Doran Goian what were you thinking of? http://www.dailyreco...rprised-1271873 RANGERS star Dorin Goian last night admitted he thought he would be taking on "fat amateurs" in the Third Division. Forgive me. But what a f***ing whalloper. Yeah just like McMoist and Greenbacks said 'were looking forward to making new friends' in our journey back to the promised land. I am sure each and every 'fat amateur' that plays for a third division side will think that Sevco players are just fun loving guys looking to make new friends. My arse. I hope they boot the silly overpaid cnuts from here to division one. Is their arrogance not breathtaking?
  22. Just been over to OrcMedia and saw this posted: http://www.scotsman.com/the-scotsman/sport/football/league-cup-wins-remain-with-rangers-says-sfl-chief-1-2460379#.UCSKbpm0nLY.twitter What it basically says is that Longmuir is happy enough to leave Rangers (IA/IL) League cup wins alone. That means that even if/ when they are foung guilty of dual contracts and illegally registering players, then the SFL are happy to leave them be. We could have an absurd situation where the SPL and SFA (renowned friends of Rangers (IA/IL)/ Sevco) removing their Scottish Cups and League titles from the records but leaving them with the League Cups. Someone really should have a word with mr Longmuir. I reiterate that TCFKAR had nine players in the 2002 league cup final on EBTs and I subsequently found out, five in the final against St Johnstone. How can Longmuir possibly say what sanctions (or not) they will (or not) get before verdicts are returned. They may even have been found to have acted within the law, it is not outwith the realms of possiblities. But to say to the serial killer before his trial that he will get no sentence is absurd.
