  1. Pretty much in a nutshell. The hijackers were on the radar of both the F.B.I and C.I.A. A mutual mistrust bordering on hatred between the two agencies meant that information that could and should have been shared never was. Basically it was a monumental f**k up by the security agencies, nothing more.
  2. So, found this little fucker in the kitchen sink while on a weekend break in Glen Isla. Initially thought it was a teabag or some other junk. Shat myself when I realised what it was!
  3. City Of Mirrors by Justin Cronin Final instalment of a trilogy including The Passage and The Twelve. Loved these books although they're a bit of a commitment coming in at about 800 pages each. Apocalyptic story involving the creation of 'virals', humans infected by a virus which turn them into vampires although they are unlike any kind of vampire you've read about before. The books continually skip from the present day into the future and back again. Takes a bit of getting used to but once you settle into it the pages fly by. Thoroughly recommend!
  4. Diane Abbot fucking raging!
  5. George Foreman. What an absolute gentleman! Would be interested if there's another aspect to the man but he comes across as a thoroughly decent individual regarding Ali's death and his defeat in the Rumble in the Jungle
  6. Will be watching When We Were Kings tonight with a glass of wine I think. One of the best documentaries ever made for one of the greatest sportsmen who ever lived. So much more than just a boxer!
  7. Arya's was killed by Nedd Stark after it attacked Joffrey way back in the first series
  8. Would like to introduce P&B to our new addition to the family. Chocolate Lab Bella who we met for the first time tonight. 3 weeks old and due to come home on the 28th of May All I need now is a Barbour jacket and a Land Rover
  9. I follow the Red Wings and even I found that a bit embarrassing. Think Abby was complaining that he had a damaged hand so couldn't drop the gloves. Reckon the Bolts will bide there time until they get the Wings back to the Amalie Arena before nailing him.
  10. New Suicide Squad trailer released Preferred the first trailer tbh but still looks like it could be a lot of fun Margot Robbie â¤
  11. Believe it or not I actually despise Louise even more than Kay with a fucking E. She comes across as a horrendous human being. Anyway, I digress. f**k the Rangers!
  12. Cheers. Will check it out when I get home on my shitty Galaxy S3!
  13. Like you I was thoroughly impressed by Twilight Sad. Hadn't heard any of there stuff before Saturday night but will be checking out there back catalogue. Any pointers would be appreciated.Chvrches were excellent although I had seen them at the tail end of last year in Dundee so knew what to expect. The night ended on a bit of a downer. Lost my 3 day old Galaxy S6. To say I was utterly seething would be an understatement!
  14. Sausage Party starring Seth Rogen Can't think of many, if any mainstream animated films that have been aimed solely at adults. Going by the trailer it looks like it might be alright
  15. I'm fairly sure all the teams show there home games via webcast. Be warned though! The quality can vary dramatically from good to unwatchable.
  16. Does anyone actually think Wisbit is being serious here?
  17. The Flu is fucking horrific! Had it once several years ago and was unable to move for days. Started to hallucinate, ran a fever, the whole lot. When I was finally able to drag myself to the GP she asked if I had any episodes of bursting in to tears while ill (which I had). Apparently the Flu can cause severe depression on a temporary basis. Took me about a month to fully recover and must have lost about a stone in weight.
  18. Changing car light bulbs. Not only do you need the hand size of a five year old but also the dexterity of a concert pianist.
  19. Im guessing most of those invited to the private screenings will be closely linked to the movie and/or movie industry. Might be wrong mind.
  20. Looks like the initial reactions to the private screenings have been very positive. http://www.theguardian.com/film/2015/dec/15/star-wars-the-force-awakens-first-reactions-suggest-overwhelming-experience Saying that, I doubt anyone would come out and say it's shite!
  21. This is going to come across as extremely petty but the one scene that really screwed with me as a kid was in ROTJ. It's during the battle on Endor and it's when Chewie swings on top of the AT-ST while yelling like Tarzan. As a kid I was completely emersed in the film upto that point and then I was like wtf? How the hell would a Wookie know about Tarzan?
  22. Yip, got chvrches tickets for Hydro yesterday
