  1. In the last day I've had four abusive DM's on Twitter. Calling me everything from a "Catholic apologist" to some I daren't even post here. Needless to say, if they'd bothered to read my Tweets about Neil Lennon from the Cup Final maybe they wouldn't be so sure. That's another one to add to my "P&B Guide..." If you post anything anti-Rangers you are a Celtic fan. If you post anything anti-Celtic you are a Rangers fan. If you post something anti-Old Firm you are... emmm... ehhhhh... ARRRRGGGGHHHH"
  2. Same with Kilmarnock if they brought in Ayr. So what we're saying is... If there were more teams in the league, more people might go to matches? Throw Rangers out and invite in Ayr, Dundee, Falkirk, Morton, Thistle and Airdrie. Then most SPL clubs would make up for the loss of Rangers fans attendance with those of their rivals. Sorted, I await confirmation of this being implemented soon.
  3. Just as an amusing side ditty to all of this... The Rangers (and even some Celtic) fans that are trotting out the "You can't do this. Scottish football needs the Old Firm. They need a competitive Rangers" etc etc... Is that the same line they were spewing when they both shoved on their lowest cut tops and favourite push-up bras in their numerous attempts to woo the EPL chairmen?
  4. So wait, you're suggesting that one of the bastions of Scottish society and the sole pillar of morality in an increasingly fraught and tainted landscape - offer players double contracts? Come on, that would never happen.
  5. No, someone confirmed this last night. Any embargo would still be in effect for any 'phoenix' organisation rising from Rangers ashes. They're fucked
  6. It wouldn't do too much damage. Kilmarnock are a club who pay our taxes, and year on year are significantly reducing our debts. So the death of Rangers would mean we're minus two Old Firm gates a season.... Great. Moreover, any time I'm in Kilmarnock town centre you very rarely (if ever) see a Kilmarnock shirt. No, it's always Rangers or Celtic. So if one of those two cancerous leeches of society vanish we may just have a generation coming through that would support *insert dramatic sharp intake of breath* their local team. And that wouldn't be just a Kilmarnock thing. So in summary, I hope Rangers die a very slow and painful death.
  7. Sorry if I've missed this but does the ban get back-dated to Craig Whyte's takeover? Or when they went into admin? Or is it from today's date?
  8. Would someone care to re-post the stat about SPL income in relation to the money we get from Sky/ESPN?
  9. I've mainly avoided this thread as the rumour and conjecture was beginning to become tiresome. But, after seeing this news? When they're in the 3rd Division maybe. No 'trialists' allowed in SPL.
  10. See this £500k thing? Is that not a bit Conor Sammon'y? Surely the 'preferred bidder' should be the consortium that has the best bid on the table for the future of the club? Not just a bidder that can stump up £500k....
  11. Is there any more info as to why the Blue Knights have pulled out? If there's something they've noticed then it's likely the others will follow suit. Or maybe it's just a case that they've heard they aren't the 'preferred bidder'.
  12. A very good interview with CM Punk HERE in his local paper. Love that he travels on the train with his title belt in his bag
  13. Shitehawk of an episode. On the plus side at least it didn't distract me too much from my essay
  14. Was pencilled in to be on Team Teddy but is still a few weeks from being fit to compete.
  15. Agreed. Usually the final Raw before WM is decent. Very average show so far.
  16. Opening credits Heel comes to the ring - starts stating he deserves a title shot/is better Face interrupts - starts claiming he is in fact the superior competitor Teddy Long appears "Tonights main event - previous Heel v Previous Face" Repeat ad naseum...
  17. Pretty sure I read the Arbroath Chairman stating somewhere that their game v Rangers in the cup this year generated enough to keep them going for several seasons. So if your trying to tell me that SFL clubs or the SFL themselves would vote against Rangers being allowed in your having a giraffe.
  18. Of course we'd vote them in. As would every other club. As was said before Celtic would be the first one to cast their vote. Lets be honest as well, if the SPL clubs did take a stand and made Rangers start from Division 3 they'd be in the SPL again in 3 seasons. And by then we'd have lost the majority of our television money and probably 2 or 3 more clubs.
