  1. It was once mentioned at a fans meeting but Roddy Grant said nobody would agree to it and that was that. I think though the suggestion of every season ticket holder paying more in return for Celtic and Rangers only being given the normal away part of the main stand and the North is worth at least putting to season ticket holders. A lot of season ticket holders already pay more just by not attending these games. I d happily pay say £75 more on my season ticket in return for not giving our ground up for these games, I don’t know about everyone else but surely it’s worth seeing.
  2. I might be wrong but thought we d too many season tickets to make us give up the East Stand for a league game , that’s why they focussed on the number of season tickets who don’t turn up .
  3. I ve a question about this league, the winners of this if licensed play the winners of the North Caledonian league with the winners of that playing off against bottom of Highland league, am I right ? So in theory in a few years time, Perth could have Letham in the Highland league and Jeanfield Swifts in the Lowland league, would that be allowed to happen ? I always thought it was the North /South of the Tay being the cut off line but might be wrong .
  4. It’s Davidson s “ qualifying from the group was always going to be a tall order” pish that really annoys me. How was it a tall order, with around 15 mins left it became evident that we need to score 2 more goals to give us a chance, even one as always the chance Elgin might have scored. I kept asking people around me and checking my phone as thought by way we were playing I must have this wrong. I m in the East Stand but those in Main said Callum was shouting players on but it made no difference if that’s true, it didn’t look or feel like we were desperate for that extra goal. If Ayr had scored because we were throwing everything forward, I d actually have preferred that, at least we would have exited the cup while trying. Yesterday annoyed me just as much as Dundee away when at 1-1 we settled and didn’t go for the win, giving away the chance to stay up automatically.
  5. I only saw the Final so no real idea, I did on the day though think Motherwell were the better team ane probably would have won if they hadn’t had the sendings off, they came back with just 9 men from 2-1 down in the last 5 mins. It was U17s I think.
  6. On this, did our Youth team win the Scottish Cup, I originally thought so but it seemed to be called the Scotland Cup or similar, it appears Rangers beat Hearts at Hampden for the actual Scottish Youth Cup, from the teams we beat on the way it seems to be a secondary type cup maybe ? Not to take away from the achievement but Motherwell were the better team on the day and were cruising until they had two sent off, even then when Saints got ahead the 9 men battled back to score and take it to pens. The Saints goalie was the star of the show.
  7. The season ticket card from year before defo worked last year, I got mine confused and took both along one game as had no idea which was this years, the lad at turnstile confirmed both worked
  8. Just this season Dunfermline were in the Championship and next season they re playing Kelty Hearts in a league game ! That thought would have been just as mad 7 years ago. Having watched Kelty knock my team out the Scottish cup this year, I wouldn’t rule out they beat you either.
  9. He should have gone after Kelty, but I want him gone now, as soon as possible for me, he’s had more money than any manager in 20 years, so many chances to turn it round, folk say who would replace him, anyone would do, give Liam the last 3 games, bring someone in, who could do worse, no way we can stay up automatically now but 3 games to play a different system with someone else in charge, find some kind of form to hopefully win the play off and then can decide who is the manager next year.
  10. This was the game Alan Main wore a jersey that looked like he d made it himself, no team badge and the sponsor put on in entirely different font from the rest of the team. Memory says this was only game he wore it ?
  11. Excellent summary of tonight, I was there and you ve reminded me of some bits. Things I took from tonight in addition to what you ve wrote. we ve less than 700 adult season ticket holders, that surprised me it was as low as that. He was very open talking about the Stevie May transfer. He never mentioned Vine, just Stevie Mays agent but is appears the blame lies there, deal all agreed and waiting for clearance to register Stevie but Vine didn’t send the paperwork on and he wanted to use it as a bargaining chip, looked for more money so Saints walked away. Vine also tried to get more money out of Aberdeen for May leaving as well which they wouldn’t agree to. If Tommy hadn’t been desperate for getting May I got impression that would have been it but eventually Brown picked up the phone to Stewart Milne and a deal was done but with Saints paying some of the money Aberdeen had to pay May if I understood right.
