Brilliant to see so many terrible decisions go in our favour. Long may it continue.
We've had our fair share of terrible decisions go against us this season, so it's about time a few went in our favour.

A decent game wrecked by yet another howling refereeing performance from Napier (for both sides). It was all about him in the 2nd half. We should’ve been a couple ahead at half time but can only have ourselves to blame for not getting 3 points.

Mullen signs an extension until 2025, great news.
Surprised and disappointed to read above that Bearne may be heading out on loan. Granted he had a poor start, but he was finally starting to show good form in November/early December and hasn’t been given any time since. Strange!
I understand Boyd wanting to get a move though as it’s not worked out here.1 -

Just received an email about our stuttgart accommodation, apparently between the hotel and booking.com they have over booked our hotel by 150 rooms and they now want us to cancel our 4 night stay. Hotel is/was a 6 mins walk from the main train station
AirBnB had a few good shouts for 4 nights in Stuttgart. We ended up going that way as hotel prices were extortionate.

If anyone’s looking for a flight back, Basel looks a decent option. 3hr from Stuttgart. 7pm BA flight to Heathrow and then onto Edinburgh or Glasgow that night for £170 total, hold bag included and transfer covered.
I couldn’t find another option that gets you back to Scotland on the 24th for under £200 and doesn’t involve an early start.
We managed to get flights from Frankfurt > Heathrow > Glasgow on the 24th for just under £200. Small matter of an hour and 15 min train journey from Stuttgart to Frankfurt Airport (direct) in the morning, but hopefully goes smoothly. BA have cancelled/changed our flight times on 3 occasions now but still all good, shit myself any time I see an update from them at the moment.

That’s a belter of a picture, and if I were a QOS fan I’d be getting it framed.
My long lasting memory of Dobbie will forever be his hat trick at Cappielow when he came on as a sub and just tore us to pieces in what I remember being about 15 minutes. He probably could have achieved a bit more in his career, but it’s very rare these days to find a player to stay so loyal at one club and it’s a credit to QOS & its support for creating a connection with a player in that way.
I hope we somehow find an equivalent one day (George Oakley would be lovely).2 -
Got to laugh at Dundee Utd claiming for a foul on Holt for the winner… there’s only one player grabbing a shirt then taking a swipe and falling on his arse, and it wasn’t George

I'd imagine Dougie will be happy for him to stay at Clyde so wouldn't be surprised if he goes back during the window.
He's not going to threaten our starting 11 so makes sense to stay at Clyde and play every week.
If we lose Strapp I’d prefer we hung on to him for back up at left back given Waters has just returned from an injury.

Dundee Utd have also had a red card in both games against us this season. Animals.

Thought he was extremely fair to be honest which is disappointing. He praised us multiple times without being patronising for once.
Penalty decision was an absolute stone waller although I thought the second sibbald booking was correct but I don't think I saw a replay.
The standard “the way they play” pish being rolled out.

They’ll definitely sit in making it a boring match. Love it for them to prove me wrong but I doubt it.
Get it so far up ye.

Garrity failing to stop 2 crosses coming in and 2 headers going unchallenged has wrecked a good half of football from us. Don’t fancy the current defence to go through the 2nd half without conceding so hopefully George gets his hat trick.

Paton had every right to disagree with the soft booking. Collum seems to get to a certain stage in these needle-less games where he gets bored and has to try to liven it up.
He’s clattered the boy making no attempt to play the ball. It’s as obvious a yellow as you’ll see.

The red juice box on the far side has genuinely done as much work as Jakubiak and Wighton combined. Truly awful.
Didn’t know Wighton was playing until I read this post, genuinely.

you can go back in and add to your booking for 5 euro. - depends how long the train is if you dont mind standing!
59 minutes ago, welshbairn said:You probably won't need to but you can reserve seats independently from buying tickets on the DB site.
Sorted, cheers! 1hr 15min journey.

For those looking at trains, the super saver tickets came on over the Christmas period. some of the ICE trains were bookable for 10-15 euros. Just mind add a 5 euro seat reservation on.
I forgot to reserve seats on our train to Frankfurt airport in the morning after the Hungary game. Is that likely to be an issue? I’ve seen a few mentions now of it being a good idea to reserve seats.

That’s outstanding from Littler.

Did Arteta not play Ben White and even Xhaka before him at times last season?
Would be a terrible move for him as he would rarely play.
Good from a Scotland perspective though

Not if they all pick up wins against Ayr, which they are all perfectly capable of doing regardless of how shit they are. See also, Greenock Morten.
4 wins from last 6 games, 2 draws and 0 goals conceded in last 360 minutes. If that’s “shit”, I’ll take it any day.

Raith are at least good. Morten will stay up this season in large part due to the 12 points that Ayr United are now three quarters of the way through gift-wrapping for them.

Dowds seems to be getting hammered every time he goes for ball. Certainly getting nothing from ref. Ayr need to sharpen up second half.
If he bothered actually trying to win a header than feigning injury any time a Morton player breathes near him he might be more successful.

Tierney linked with a return to Arsenal now that Zinchenko is injured.

Is he really good enough to step up to the Premiership again though? He’s been good for us since Imrie came in, but there’s not one time I’ve thought there’s a player that’s playing at a level below what they’re capable of.
