  1. Are you guys in need of a keeper? Please sign the one in the Red team.
  2. No one at the moment. Caldwell was doing well for us but was then dropped after McManus came back - even though he'd scored something like 3 goals and had 4 assists in his first 5 matches. I can understand why his confidence completely disappeared after that. I'd have been pleased if we'd kept Caldwell. We definitely need two more strikers as although Peaso is a good player, at 34/35 he won't be able to play every game.
  3. The only thing I liked about Duffy last season was him being able to make the players believe in themselves if we went behind. Sure we lost a few games, but it was ridiculous the amount of times we went on to win after being a goal down. I think we scored near enough 45% of our goals in the last 15 minutes. He also pulled off a great transfer by swapping that useless Andy Barrowman for Ross Forbes who finally brought a bit of creativity into the midfield. But apart from that we were dreadful for a lot of the season, all down to his tactics and substitutions.
  4. Gibson was the main threat and Kilday couldn't handle him. Thankfully he was supported by other players but all I'm saying is Kilday couldn't deal with him.
  5. The game that was live on Alba - Kilday couldn't get near him.
  6. Our right-back Lee Kilday will be having nightmares about Gibson. Tore him a new one last season
  7. All development players get the same wage - which is around £90 a week. They get an extra £30 if they make the bench and I think it may be a wee bit extra if they play. I know a development player my self who told me that info, fairly reliable source.
  8. Fair enough - I did think it was nonsense. Has McAllister been released?
  9. According to someone on the Morton forum, Gary Harkins is apparently signing on loan for 6 months. Any chance of this happening? Last I heard he hated the ton
  10. Yeah, and he doesn't suit Duffy's long ball tactics, considering he's about 5ft tall
  11. He looks a good player. Got a great touch and a decent strike on him too. He made an impact in most matches he played for us last season. Most notably 2 assists in the game where we beat Stenny 3-2 at home after being 2-0 down- i think he came on around the 75th minute.
  12. Good to be back. Looking forward to trips to Easter Road and 4 games against St Mirren. I saw somewhere that the play-offs were the aim, but I'll happily take 8th place in our first season back. I think we need at least 4/5 players in - preferably with a bit of experience.
  13. Is Van Zanten finished at this level? He was decent for us a few years ago and wouldn't mind having him back if he's still the same player.
  14. Glad he wasn't just shite for us. Seems a complete dick of a guy.
  15. He wasn't good for us either. He was f*cking brilliant
  16. What was the Pars fans overall thoughts for Barrowman? Finished or was Potter playing him wrong? In my opinion he's finished and did next to nothing for us in the first half of the season. Will he be kept on for next year?
  17. Surprised Kenny Shiels hasn't been mentioned here. He'll surely be looking for a job unless I've missed somewhere that he's got something else? I was surprised he resigned at the end of last season, if it wasn't for that disaster at Hamilton he'd still be at the ton and I'm fairly confident we'd have been a better team than we are just now.
  18. I think Stevie Aitken will be managing either yourselves or the ton next season. Peaso had a "slip of the tongue" moment in his interview during half time at the game today saying "Whoever the manager is next season" which suggests Duffy is offski
  19. Jim Duffy will be unemployed in the summer. He's decent.
  20. I don't think many fans would be happy with his tenure. I'm pleased that he saved the club - but the past few years have just been a disgrace. We've overspent on players, paid transfer fees for crap players, and Dougie Rae has added all of this to the "debt" that the club owe him. His mismanagement has put us in the mess we are in now. He cut the budget last season to make us more sustainable - yet we had to spend more on crap players to try and avoid relegation. It was the worst possible year to start messing about and trying to cut the squad costs. £2 million in debt to our owner in the 3rd tier of Scottish football with the future not looking any better.
  21. Who did you guys have last season that scored goals? And has Ryan Wallace pretty much been out for the entire season? I remember him looking very decent in the championship never mind league 1.
