  1. Nisbet seems to have turned into a bit of a dick. Moaning at ref, claiming for everything.
  2. Trialists wearing yellow bibs in warm up. Could be wrong - didnt see the QP game - but could be same midfielder. Other one could be the Leo felly but they're a bit far away at the moment. Or just small.
  3. I've always been a Davo fan and that interview had me welling up at the end. Like many, I've been frustrated and enraged by some of his red mists, but noone can watch that and be in any doubt what the club means to him, or what he's given. Looking forward to the game tonight. And his inevitable sending off.
  4. Aye - Ross likes a bit of a wind up and has previous form, reeling in the Falkirk boys when we romped to the League 1 title.
  5. Killie brought Armstrong (transferred from RRFC) on as a sub when he should have been serving a suspension.
  6. I was unavoidably late getting to the ground on Tuesday night and missed my timeslot, arriving in the middle of the next one. Got in no bother at all, not even a glance, then today I've got an email saying the club hopes I enjoy the game on Saturday (Friday), then in bold telling me to arrive within my allocated timeslot. Are they reviewing arrivals after the event to comply with something or is it a standard reminder?
  7. We've got young, under 20yr old forwards, and just sent one out on loan. Whilst I'll give my support to anyone who signs, I really hope this isn't the way forward.
  8. Tempo. That's what impressed me in the game. Never stopped. Passing was sweet, movement on and off the ball was good, and it was good to watch. I know we won't have that sort of time in league games but you can only beat what's in front of you. Agree on Poplatnik though. Started well and looked busy but disappeared. Keatings did more as a late sub.
  9. Mind you, if he turns out to be really decent and is banging them in, we reserve the right to come back and get him.
  10. Didn't make it along yesterday and just watched the highlights. Looks like we battered them 1-0. And the highlights confirm that away strip is a thing of beauty. If I wasn't the age I am I'd be having one. On 2nd thoughts, I might get one for the walking football. Age is just a number.
  11. I didn't see the Queens Park game, but consensus seemed to be that the Brazilian (?) midfielder looked a better prospect than Leo.
  12. Kennedy undoubtedly a good player but he lost his impact pretty quickly with us. Opposition teams had him sussed in short time and his effectiveness was nowhere near what it could or should have been. But he's young, and development is surely the whole point of loans, from the lending club's perspective. He will learn to adapt his style. You'll get a decent player with potential, which surely puts him ahead of some of your midfield options.
  13. Well, I love the strip. Wouldn't do if we all liked the same eh?
  14. Football at our level is never a value for money proposition. Possibly not at any level. Going to the Kino vs going to the Odeon for entertainment is about value for money. Watching your football team isn't. It's about things like local pride, tribalism, heritage, belonging etc. It's not sausages you're buying.
  15. FFS, 2 friendly games in with half a new team, major players unavailable and a month until the league starts and there's talk of relegation, bad signings and hard slogs. Algorithms has already reminded you of the thumping Falkirk gave us last preseason, showing that these games cannot be used to judge performance. Can we all just chill oot a bit? We all know we're short of players. I'm sure JMcG knows it too - it's his job. Fools and children should never see half done work.
  16. Can we please not make any judgements on tonight's showing? 2nd preseason game with trialists and subs. Little wonder theres not much cohesion.
