  1. Tickets really shifting now. Only a handful of tickets left in Blocks A and F. Block G going down nicely and obviously Block H not on sale yet (the rest pretty much sold out). Don't think that will be needed but should pretty much fill every other section for a home crowd of over 5k
  2. I know Hearts and Sevco both operate a 'sell your seat' scheme for ST holders so think it would be easy enough to set up
  3. The good news is space is the one thing we aren't short of With an East Stand the same size as the ones behind the goals there is still plenty of room between it and the community pitch The Planning Permission for their pitch included a future link road which I assume we could add and then have more parking if required. Could always create another car park behind the south stand as well I imagine the new Foundation building will be somewhere to the south of their pitch which wouldn't impede any other future development at the stadium
  4. Queens fans also pretty much unanimously declared we'd pump them every time we've faced them in the pre match threads. What has actually happened is three tight games, two 1-0 wins and a 1-1 draw. Would be delighted with any kind of win here and can't see us running up a cricket score at all
  5. I'm sure John mentioned the exact number on Falkirk Daft a few podcasts ago which included half season tickets as well. Can't remember what that number was though, maybe around the 2700 mark?
  6. Totally disagree tbh. Dunfermline are an excellent example as they have a near identical support to ourselves. Their home crowds are up 500 this season coupled with an average of 500 extra away fans. Though they probably have benefited more than most from away fans with large supports from Raith and Dundee United both doing well. Even with the arse falling out of their season and a 5-0 loss in their previous game they still had 4.4k at EEP yesterday If we get promoted I'm sure we'll be averaging somewhere between 5-5.5k next season, and will be at the top end of that if we are decent on the park
  7. The only team to leave TFS with anything this season has been Hamilton (10 wins 1 draw) so I am under no illusion of how difficult this game will be. They do seem to have suffered since losing Scott Martin in the last game between us to injury who is their best player by some distance. Hopefully our win at their place will give us real confidence that we can go and effectively finish the job here. Over 5k on the home gate and 2-0 Bairns. Morrison and Miller OGs
  8. On a more serious note, the arse falling out the bottom of Queens' and Accies' crowds after less than 1-2 years down here makes the fact our support has continued to turn up in numbers season after season all the more impressive
  9. Looking forward to his reappearance on Falkirk Daft as well. Hopefully Ross and John give him pelters for those 'best squad on paper/ in the league' comments from before the last game
  10. Block H not available on the ticket site like it usually is. Hopefully that means we are putting the Hamilton fans in there and opening the North Stand to home supporters
  11. It would be absolutely hilarious if they went back down. Especially after their opening 'goal' against us in the crunch match that didnt even cross the fucking line
  12. By all accounts Morrison, Agyeman and Miller were pretty much invisible today
  13. Now Accies really, really need to come to TFS and play to win. The shitfesting approach they adopted on their last visit simply isn't going to cut it, which should suit us
  14. The Pars getting skanted 3-0 at home and down to 9th as well. Lovely stuff
  15. My understanding is this is standard practice for any sort of community lottery/ government funding etc. You wouldn't want to incur substantial costs getting a full suite of design drawings prepared, ecological surveys etc for Planning Permission, then even more for a Building Warrant package - only to have your funding request turned down. I can't speak for Engineers but your Architects fees alone for all that would probably run to at least £20k. A QS should be able to prepare an initial cost plan off some fairly simple sketches based on standard construction build-ups. Then I believe the foundation will have had to jump through a number of hoops to secure funding against that estimate. Once you have the approval you can start moving forward with the more detailed design. I reckon it will move quite quickly as I understand this sort of funding is often only ringfenced until the end of the next financial year ie April 2025 (where the project needs to be completed, not just started on site). I have no idea what the actual process will be for this specific project though, hopefully someone from the Foundation will be able to shed some light. We'll just have to think of something else to put in one of the corner pods now
  16. That is correct. The proposals will appear on there once the planning application is made.
  17. I had a look on the planning portal the other day for it but couldnt see anything yet. Apparently the building will be positioned well clear of the area earmarked for the 4th stand
  18. The Falkirk Foundation have successfully applied for grant funding (around £400K IIRC) to construct a separate building with changing rooms, offices etc near their pitch. I believe they briefly looked at accommodating this as part of a new stand but it wasn't considered viable. Sadly I doubt we'll ever see a proper East Stand built as a 3k stand (which would cost what, £4-5m to build?) doesn't offer much return when we can add 1k temporary seats on that side for peanuts if we get back to the premiership. Unless a Sandy Alexander type wants to set up another KM7-esque deal, otherwise we'd probably have to give the whole thing to the arsecheeks when they visited for it to even begin to stack up which I wouldn't be keen on at all.
  19. Looks like the KM7 stand will sell out tomorrow. Cant remember it ever selling out over a week before a game before. Should be a big fucking sexy crowd
  20. If there does turn out to be fans of other clubs involved, the SFA should question why there was such a ridiculous kick off time proposed, all to accommodate being shown on a TV channel that contributes approximately 30 pence to Scottish football annually.
  21. I don't rate Mackie at all. Injuries to him at the start of the season along with McGinn and Oliver were hugely helpful to McGlynn imo by forcing him to play McCann, Henderson and Agyeman/ Nesbitt which improved us a lot The aforementioned guys are fine to come off the bench at this level/ cover for injuries but wouldnt keep any of the 3 beyond this season, especially if we are promoted
  22. TNS were a better side than anything we have faced in League 1 this season. And better coached. And I will maintain until the day I die we would have comfortably beaten Bonnyrigg on anything remotely resembling a football pitch. The team selection and tactics at Edinburgh have been well documented and we looked back to our old selves against Alloa. Hamilton are obviously a cut above the other teams in the league but I've got no concerns at all that we can't have a strong end to the season.
  23. TNS were very well organised but on another day we'd have won that. Not our best performance but not our worst either, allows us to focus on the league now Can someone explain to me why there were only 3 added minutes after chronic timewasting from the opposition for the majority of the game, multiple injuries etc.
