Depends on his xWeird credentials.

Tbf im pretty sure we’d cuff Sligo in the return last year.
Welcome to the club lads.

Punting Hammell and Alexander would presumably fall under the 'staff costs' bracket, no?

I was thinking that Mcgrath would maybe have better offers on the table, but i'm actually not sure he will, can't see hearts or Aberdeen going in for him, not sure on Hibs either having signed Levitt.
So we could be in with a shout, saying that, not sure we actually need someone in that area of the park.
Aye, had we not signed Davor then he'd be a ready made replacement for Goss, but given we now have Davor/Miller/Paton/Maguire (eep!)/Slattery for those two positions it's not a critical gap needing filled now.
Mercurial foreign striker required first.

Jamie McGrath anyone?

Hard to tell if there’s any truth in it, but I saw some reference on Twitter to him and Mugabi being away soon?

We were sat next to the board’s table at the POTY night. Aside from the folk from G4 Claims with the branded dresses, it did have the air of a bowling club committee….

This is exactly the level of random rumour we’ve been missing. If the thread wills it, it shall happen - let’s get things going

Ach, it’s a pretty low risk signing all told.
To me it looks like a bit of an insurance option if we can’t get Furlong back - not sure if running with Wilson as our first choice was ever a real consideration and regardless of your opinion of McGinley, to come back after so long out and expect him to play every week is a big ask.

With Danzaki and (probably) Shields away, I wonder if there’ll be more we are actively looking to ship out.
Maguire is one I can’t see much of a future for, but given he was already away on loan when Kettlewell came in I wonder if he’ll get the league cup games. Probably a few in that bracket actually.

What a disastrous couple of years we’ve had.

I’m not convinced - basically John Davies for the interweb era.

I’m not convinced we can include Belic and Nolan since I’m not 100% convinced they actually exist.
Strong cases for Josh Law, Harry Smith, Craig Samson and Joe Chalmers though.

I don’t ever recall Blyth ever actually playing a game for us?

The possible trialist in that photo looks quite like Aarons…

I can see us starting with a Paton/Slattery midfield for the LC at least, although I wouldn’t be averse to giving Lennon Miller a shot.

Hope he’s weird. I can’t be having a striker that isn’t mercurial.

Welcome to our great wee club etc.

Very happy with that. The sponsor’s logo detracts a bit (quite a big bit in fact) but overall a great effort.
A hoop, no less!

The reaction on here does seem to be a little OTT. It’s the first time really that Kettlewell has had a blip - and tbh I’d much rather it happen in a cup game than the league.
Still plenty of time in the window for movement which, you’d hope, would plug some of the fairly obvious gaps in the squad.
Killie won’t be any more or less difficult after Saturday, or after their result today. I’d bet most of us wouldn’t have fancied us doing a great deal against Hibs the other week after their previous result either.
We go again, etc.
