Who is he as must confess don’t recall anyone of this season’s squad at Kelty standing out in games against them?
Big lanky left footed b*****d in the middle of the pitch, imagine a shite Liam Henderson.

He was fine to run with 2 strikers for the first half of the season, why would it be mental to not bring in a 3rd?
Because January was always coming around, Oliver can do a job there but one injury to MacIver or Shanley and we're back up shit creek.
Back to one real option as a lone striker and if he's not playing well you don't really have anything on the bench to change it with.

In all honesty I want to win to see how much panic sets in. Three dodgy results in a row would be interesting.
See most fans just want their team to win at the weekend regardless, suppose it comes with the territory of being fucking massive right enough.

Can’t see us bringing anyone else in, a keeper would be good but don’t think it’ll happen.
As much as Allan didn't suit the system it would be absolutely mental to let him leave if there wasn't plans to bring in another striker.

8 days remain in January.
8 signings to come then?

Just didn't suit McGlynn's system so glad to see we've moved him out. Hopefully allows us to bring in a better suited replacement.

Best for all parties, should allow us to bring in another player.

After two poor results I'm looking forward to us getting back to winning ways.
4-0 Falkirk, MacIver hatrick and one from Dylan Tait. Hetherington to assist at least 2.

We're linked with Marc Mcnulty, how was he in his last stint with you lot?
Not keen on him myself but our options are limited as we only have 1 more loan available which would be better used elsewhere than another striker.

Shown like that it's actually cover for Donaldson where we're weakest as there isn't a natural right-sided CB as cover.
Henderson/Mackie could cover both McCann or Lang.
Lang would just move over as he's right sided but if there's money there our last loan should probably be used on a centre back.
Jack Milne from Aberdeen would do.

I can't really remember the type of Tait is. Box to box or neat and tidy?
I'm sure he played as the 8 or 10 in McGlynn's Raith teams with Spencer playing as the 6. Tidy little technical player who isn't afraid to get stuck in too.

I would much rather have Ben Williamson than Dylan Tait that's for sure. Kirk looks a good player but I don't really understand why we've signed him as we already have a couple of young strikers and probably needed a more experienced striker like a Zak Rudden. And Hastie doesn't really impress me either but I'm prepared to give him a chance. They will be more coming in as they will be more going out. You fancy anymore Accies rejects? Joel Mumbongo is available!
1 goal and 2 assists in a title winning side last season and right good debut for you too.

For me, we should have signed another CH. As you say, we've got cover in midfield, but only Mackie available to cover the CH positions.
And Hendo.
But with Mckay leaving I'd be surprised if we weren't working on bringing in another centre back.
Lawal and Allan are probably chomping at the bit to be the next out the door. Especially when we sign Zak Rudden.

Can he play in goals?
If we're playing Hamilton, yes.

Ideal that he's already played in the middle of the park with Spencer too.
2 -
Well there's our extra 6/8, McGlynn will hopefully get him back to his Raith rovers form.

Special thanks to Hamilton for making this deal possible.

He's not wrong. Hogarth has his weaknesses but at least he commands his area reasonably well. He's not the finished article, nowhere near, and regardless of where we're playing next season, we need a more experienced keeper, even just as backup.
He didn't command it at all away to Hamilton, both are going to make errors given how young they are but the jersey should now be Hogarth's to lose.

If you want to see it from a different angle. Sadly Long's mistake for the first is much more apparent.
I'm not having the second goal as his fault given how quick he's got to try react, I'm more questioning who's marking him in the first place.
Also gives a much better angle of Nesbitt's chance in the first half, really needs to be tucking that away.
1 hour ago, Grangemouth Bairn said:Yeah, he needs dropped but the challenge is we are replacing him with another inexperienced player.
I’m surprised we didn’t sign a more experienced goalkeeper at the start of the season.
See I was just talking yesterday about how McGlynn played a blinder signing Miller, Lang and Spencer in the summer. The majority at the time including me thought it was madness those signings left us with no money to sign a right back, how wrong were we!
Weren't many experienced keepers floating about in the summer, Jamie Macdonald and Ryan Mullen were the only two other keepers we were linked with and both ended up at Morton.

Surely if this game gets cancelled for a third time we're just calling it a draw?

Bad day at the office on a terrible park but we'll be back next weekend to shove one in Alloa's butthole.
Good job every team bar Stirling has a plastic pitch in our league.

Couldn't really do much on that pitch today, my only frustration is McGlynn fannying about with subs again. Should have been on after 70 minutes not the 91st.

Ola can play out wide, I think he's better in a free role as the 10 though as defensively he switches off which I think is the reason we never saw much of him this season.
Has that bit of magic about him so will be interesting to see how he gets on with regular games.
