After the abuse they got last January, I doubt the club will put anything up until about a minute before an announcement. I'm sure someone can invent something on here, but most of those tends to fall flat on their faces.
Shanley's already looking a shrewd piece of business, was a nuisance on Saturday when he came on and it was an excellent flick on for the first goal.
I want more from Ross, the talents there but he needs to start contributing with goals and assists when he gets his chance.
I'd love another option to play as the 6 or 8 just incase Hendo or Spencer pick up an injury or suspension. McGinn's done unfortunately.

Hamilton Accies are set to sign Jake Hastie
The fact he's an ex Paul Hartley signing is a massive red flag.

This is coming across to me as very bad paper talk. Would be extremely shocked if any of these deals were to happen. Would be happy to be proven wrong.
Very poor indeed, pretty sure Agyeman signed a 3 year deal in the summer. Miller will most likely have a clause to leave in the summer if we don't go up but the relevance of that to make him want to join Hamilton's a good laugh.

2 points dropped, what a difference in the second half team. Couple of excellent saves from the Edinburgh keeper to stop us from turning it round completely.

First goals never a corner but f**k me we've been woeful. Just goes to show the difference in quality between our bench and starting 11. Agyeman and Mackie have been honking, Allan's barely touched the ball.

Hearld saying MacIver is out for the next two weeks and Yeats is likely to be rested on Saturday along with a few others. So Shanley will get his chance to make the starting spot his.

Yeah we still need 6-8 new signings next year to compete at the top end of the championship next season.
Calm yourself, most of the starting 11 from this season would be able to make the step up no bother. More worried about us keeping a hold of them after the season we're having.
Yeats, Donaldson, Mccann and Hendo are all out of contract. Morrison will be away so we'll need a replacement for him but that could well end up being Ethan Ross.

Thought Shanley linked the play well when he came on, could end up starting against his old team with MacIver going off.
We were excellent all over the park, Yeats and Mccann with two great assists. Lang battering Burrell at every opportunity. Morrison getting two goals after being quiet for the last few weeks.
Need to start getting some of these superstars tied down on long term deals.

In the league this season we've:
Scored the most goals - 45
Conceded the least goals - 11
Had the most shots - 302
Conceded the most fouls - 225And we're the only team in the league not to recieve a red card despite being 3rd in the league for yellow cards.

Excellent piece!

Burrell falls into the same category for Allan for me, both clearly good footballers they just aren't suited to playing as a lone striker. Shanley seems to be more in the McGlynn mould so has more of a chance of fighting for the starting spot.
Burrell seemed to take the hump with his lack of appearances last season and there was occassions when he did start that he just wasn't interested.
Donaldson and Lang will have to be cautious of the space in behind as that's where Burrell's deadly.
3-0 Bairns, MacIver and Morrison x2

Said earlier in the season much of a muchness in both the keepers, Long's better with his feet and Hogarth's more of a presence.
McGlynn's just trying his best to keep the whole squad happy without costing us points in the process.
I've been critical of Nesbitt but this season he's been excellent, even won a 50/50 yesterday!
Morrison's in a bit of a slump but should have had himself an assist with his ball to the back post for Miller.

This has now been confirmed by Lanarkshire Live as a done deal.
Was a rumour we were wanting him before we signed Shanley, from watching the Hearts B team he looks technically good but not very physical.
Plenty of him in the below, excellent second goal from him around 8:45 minutes in.

Two of the worst full-backs I've ever seen yet still only managed a draw thanks to a 96th minute equaliser?
Burrell's still here, still scoring for fun
Brad Mckay was playing as a floater in that game though.

Heard Rankin is looking at Steven Hetherington of Alloa to replace the hole in midfield left by Scott Martin.
Heard that was only if Paul Paton didn't fancy the step down in clubs.

They look soft centred without him and Kilday.
And Ben Williamson won't fix that given he was non existent in the league cup game vs Partick and that was only with Spencer & McGinn nevermind big Hendo.

I'd likely take Lawal and Allan. Hartley has a tendency/history to pick up a few from yourselves and I'd imagine he will show interest.
We are short in several areas so could/should be a busy window. Who we take in and from where is a mystery going by our last attempts at recruitment.
Any news on Burrell heading down south? Or you reckon he'll stay for the season.

Mckay, Lawal and Allan will be the most likely to leave us this window. Allan and Lawal would be good additions for most teams in this league. We've done our business early with Shanley and Ross but hopefully we bring in some more quality especially if Morrison leaves.

Is Burrell not hotly tipped to move back down south?
Should have done enough to get a move down south especially as it was only a one year deal he signed with Cove.

Have to disagree with you there. Have you seen him play? He's a really good player who will do very well in this league was excellent at Raith and done OK at Dundee hasn't really worked out at Partick but he will be good in league 1
Definitely a decent addition especially with Martin out injured but he's not going to win you games like a Conor Smith for example.

Can't stop thinking about the dummy back heel from Miller on the byline yesterday, was sexy as f**k.

Calvin Miller was outstanding again today, far too good for this league.
Subs slowed us down second half but a cracking finish from Gary Oliver.
If Morrison's away in January sign us another winger please McGlynn as Agyeman can't ball. Lawal must be on the way out not even making the squad again.

Just means there are 2/3 changes to the usual starting line up for one player being out and Yeats & Nesbitt have both been excellent in their positions.
