Said earlier in the season much of a muchness in both the keepers, Long's better with his feet and Hogarth's more of a presence.
McGlynn's just trying his best to keep the whole squad happy without costing us points in the process.
I've been critical of Nesbitt but this season he's been excellent, even won a 50/50 yesterday!
Morrison's in a bit of a slump but should have had himself an assist with his ball to the back post for Miller.

This has now been confirmed by Lanarkshire Live as a done deal.
Was a rumour we were wanting him before we signed Shanley, from watching the Hearts B team he looks technically good but not very physical.
Plenty of him in the below, excellent second goal from him around 8:45 minutes in.

Two of the worst full-backs I've ever seen yet still only managed a draw thanks to a 96th minute equaliser?
Burrell's still here, still scoring for fun
Brad Mckay was playing as a floater in that game though.

Heard Rankin is looking at Steven Hetherington of Alloa to replace the hole in midfield left by Scott Martin.
Heard that was only if Paul Paton didn't fancy the step down in clubs.

They look soft centred without him and Kilday.
And Ben Williamson won't fix that given he was non existent in the league cup game vs Partick and that was only with Spencer & McGinn nevermind big Hendo.

I'd likely take Lawal and Allan. Hartley has a tendency/history to pick up a few from yourselves and I'd imagine he will show interest.
We are short in several areas so could/should be a busy window. Who we take in and from where is a mystery going by our last attempts at recruitment.
Any news on Burrell heading down south? Or you reckon he'll stay for the season.

Mckay, Lawal and Allan will be the most likely to leave us this window. Allan and Lawal would be good additions for most teams in this league. We've done our business early with Shanley and Ross but hopefully we bring in some more quality especially if Morrison leaves.

Is Burrell not hotly tipped to move back down south?
Should have done enough to get a move down south especially as it was only a one year deal he signed with Cove.

Have to disagree with you there. Have you seen him play? He's a really good player who will do very well in this league was excellent at Raith and done OK at Dundee hasn't really worked out at Partick but he will be good in league 1
Definitely a decent addition especially with Martin out injured but he's not going to win you games like a Conor Smith for example.

Can't stop thinking about the dummy back heel from Miller on the byline yesterday, was sexy as f**k.

Calvin Miller was outstanding again today, far too good for this league.
Subs slowed us down second half but a cracking finish from Gary Oliver.
If Morrison's away in January sign us another winger please McGlynn as Agyeman can't ball. Lawal must be on the way out not even making the squad again.

Surprised we haven’t had any contract extension announcements pre Jan. important to get a couple tied down
Need to ensure we're getting promoted before we start announcing new deals.

Does anyone know whether their are any sponsorship opportunities for our new player Ryan Shanley?

Wonder what McIvers stats looked like before we created an almost perfect setting for him?
@RandomGuy. done it in the summer, showed him as dominant in the air but relatively poor at finishing. He's improved on the finishing part somewhat this season.

First you pull our pants down and pump us on Saturday and now you're sending me emails trying to get me to buy a half season ticket?
Kick a man while he's down, bawbags.
At least we're allowing you to buy it online to be fair?

It’s competition for places. He’s there as cover for McIver, he’ll be used as a sub and start when McIver is injured/suspended which is totally the correct way to utilise the boy at the moment unless McIver somehow has a drop off in form.
I suspect we'll see him as one of McGlynn's usual 60 minute subs, Allan just doesn't fit our system hence the 10 minute cameo's.
Up to him to prove he deserves a start, I like the fact it's just an initial 6 month deal.

Former Hibee. Works hard and has a bit of skill. Has had injury problems. Doesn't score as much as perhaps he should. Fans' favourite. Will have landed nicely on his feet if he's going to Falkirk so fair play to the lad.

Well there's your back up striker confirmed. 8 goals and 4 assists last season is better reading than his stats this season. Always looked a bit of a pest who isn't afraid to put themselves about, hence the 7 yellow cards in the league this season.

Lawal didn't make the squad yesterday so probably safe to assume he may be out the door come January. Allan and Mckay the only other two who may leave unless an offer comes in for Morrison.

Falkirk v Burrell

Burrell falls into the same category for Allan for me, both clearly good footballers they just aren't suited to playing as a lone striker. Shanley seems to be more in the McGlynn mould so has more of a chance of fighting for the starting spot.
Burrell seemed to take the hump with his lack of appearances last season and there was occassions when he did start that he just wasn't interested.
Donaldson and Lang will have to be cautious of the space in behind as that's where Burrell's deadly.
3-0 Bairns, MacIver and Morrison x2
