Probably one of the worst performances this season. Really does my tits in when we've been horrid all game and McGlynn does f**k all to try change things about. Putting Allan on in the 80th minute is far too late.
Cross, another cross, why don't we try a cross, how about another cross, have we tried a cross, cross again, have another cross why don't you. Graham and Dillon lapped it up.

We've been a bit pish. Plenty of shots just none really troubling the keeper. Morrison normally has Steeves on toast but he's been quiet tonight.

Difficult test especially with Henderson suspended and Spencer & Yeats possibly out injured.
I'll go 2-1 Falkirk with Lyons scoring his obligatory goal.

Hogarth
Yeats Donaldson Lang Mccann
Nesbitt Henderson
Morrison Ross Miller
MacIverHopefully have Spencer back for Tuesday.

That’s why he was sent out on loan in the first place tbf. He’s well down the pecking order for us when everyone is fit. I’d imagine if Falkirk want him, he’ll stay. How’s he been?
I don’t doubt Falkirk’s attack could cause us problems, they were excellent against Dundee United but we were missing 3 of our first choice back 4, and went with a back 3 consisting of a right back, a central midfielder and a centre back that joined on Monday and hasn’t played for 5 months. I doubt we’ll see that same defence ever again.
Still waiting on him hitting form to be honest, the only thing he's really done of note so far is assist our late winner at Stirling.

We were fine without him when he was missing before, Yeats a more than capable deputy and hopefully spencer is back for Tuesday
Yeats has had a fantastic season but we definitely miss Spencer when he's not in the middle of the park dictating the game.

Hopefully McGlynn's got a striker and midfielder lined up for January.
Assuming we keep Ross, a centre midfielder would do nicely. Bisland and Long are here for the season barring a recall, Alegria getting recalled in January last season was a hinderance.

Worrying that Spencer's injury keeps flaring up as he's crucial to how we play. Just need to look at the difference from the two games against Dundee United with and without Spencer to see that.

Hatrick for Rhys Walker in a 7-0 win for Camelon, playing left wing getting booted up and down the park.
2 goals for Scott Honeyman playing right wing in a 4-3 defeat to Bo'ness, ex bairns Luke Rankin, Fin Malcolm and Tom Grant also on the scoresheet in that game.
No games for the rest of the loanees at the weekend.

He’s under 24 years of age, would we not still be due a development fee even if he left at the end of his contract?
It's 23 and under I believe. So free to leave this summer.

Wouldn’t have Burrell anywhere near this squad/starting X1. Rotten apple & he and Hartley are well suited.
Not surprised to see him scoring goals as he clearly had quality, just didn't look interested too much of the time.
You also wouldn't catch MacIver jumping out the wall at a freekick, c**t.

Is it just me - I thought Milller had run into an offside position? Not that I necessarily think that's what was going through Morrison's head. May well be wrong though. Usually am.
I don't think he lifted his head once to check. Miller was fuming.

Better team from start to finish, delighted for Finn Yeats getting his first goal. TNS or Arbroath at home next, brilliant chance to get into the final.
My only complaint about the second half is Morrison not squaring that ball to Calvin Miller for a tap in, blinkers were on.

Two shockers from Long and a sitter from MacIver how the hell are we losing this game.

Anyone know how the U16's and u18's got on yesterday?

Squeaky bum time in the last 10 minutes.

I much preferred the first quarter when we were putting games to bed and I didn't need to sit here patting my shants for the last 10 minutes. Far too many missed chances again, MacIver making up for his first half header thankfully.
Long will be back in next week after that honker from Hogarth. Henderson suspended for the next league game away to Montrose isn't ideal.

If teams can set up to block our current patterns of play we will have the option of using Allan to change our forward play.
Not if McGlynn refuses to change the way we play.

Looking to take my daughter to the women's game this afternoon. What's the score with tickets? We are season ticket holders, does that cover them? Or do we need to get tickets separately before we go in?
I'm sure it's free, you just walk in the far side where the Kevin Mcallister stand is.

A point gained yesterday given how the game went. Incredibly frustrating watching McGlynn do nothing but like for like subs. First time a MacIver sitter has cost us as going 2-0 would have killed that game off. Just continued trying to whack in cross after cross when it clearly wasn't working.
As mentioned a striker in January has to be the priority as Allan can't play in McGlynn's system.

The new commentary is far better on FTV but the camera work is still poor. I'm not sure if the in-game replays added much, as mentioned above they would be looped 6 or 7 times and you'd sometimes miss the next attack. Maybe doing them for goals only would be a good compromise?
Also no idea why they film from the middle of the lower tier rather than the back of the upper tier like the Alloa highlights. Much better angle for seeing what's going on/ crowd reaction etc.
Another thing FTV could improve easily would be a mic just for the crowd noise. Nearly 4.5k there on Saturday and barely any of that atmosphere was fed back on the highlights
Can't remember who it was might have been Alloa but someone had the replays on as a loop at half time. Would be much better than just a holding screen.
Agree about the in play highlights as there were far too many times we were up the other end of the park by the time they'd finished the 9th showing of a shot on goal.

Only if Brad Mckay gets on the park to lay him off.
