Mcgrandles should never have been sold disgrace no matter what the fee, he was our best player by far and he was only going to get better he signed a new contract at the start of the season its way to late on in the transfer window for us to bring players in and we won't find a player as good as conor. Fuming he should have been our first £1million pound player and we should be the ones setting the fee just like hamilton did with mcarthy and dundee united did with robertson.

Mcgrandles should be our first million pound player but knowing our board it will be around 500k plus 'add ons' the only add on I want to see is a 25% sell on fee.

No houston has stated that he is still after another striker and a left sided defender. Graham is heavily linked to being the forward hes after and going by houstons comments on the type of striker he wants it is him. If were going to get him it won't be until the last few days of the transfer window as I think macnamaras taking his time to work out whether hes needed or not.

Mcgrandles should be our first million pound player he is already a better player than any of the other midfielders we have produced ie(arfield&fulton) regardless of the level he has been playing at. He will be our key player this season and at only 19 he's just going to get better and better.

With houston saying on ftv that hes after a striker and hopefully two others(with the boards approval) what positions do you feel need strengthened ? Imo we need two strikers and a right winger. We have an abundance of talented midfielders but we don't have a winger of sorts(yet to see cooper). Mcgrandles, alston, sibbs, taiwo and olu are all better when played more centrally. We desperately need more pace in our team

Our defence was shocking today, maybury's past it and they're strikers found far too much space in between mckracken and vaulks. I disagree with your opinion on dick I don't think he did anything wrong today hes ready to make the left back position his own. Our midfield was very good at retaining possesion and taiwo looks a really good player but we didn't/couldn't create anything up top. Unfortunately ollies not good enough misplaced easy short passes. Cooper wasn't involved enough in the game to comment on him. We need a striker as one upfront is not going to work for us this season.

The striker doesn't have to be experienced but I think you should always have 3 first team strikers I said this last year and we ended up paying for it when roberts was suspended and when loy was injured for one of the play off games. We need to allow small,sheppard,biabi and now ohara time to develop in the u20's before there ready for the first team.

The herald article mentions that talks are ongoing with macdonald and another midfielder. Anyone know who that is ? It's not alex cooper because he is mentioned as being on trial with us.

Where did you here this ? If true then its kind of troubling that already weve missed out on two signing targets because they don't like houston from there time with united.

Olus not mobile enough to play in a midfield four and we don't have anyone there that can pull the strings if thats our midfield four for next season ill be very worried.

Ill be delighted if we sign macdonald but ill be disapointed if maybury is the player/coach as I think hes past it but houston did say in his interview that the player/coach would'nt be playing week in week out so that makes it a bit better. We need pace in our team so I hope houston sorts that out. If kingsley goes for 350k upfront houston should get to bring in at least 5 players.

This is why our board never disclose the fee involved because either way they are fcuked if the fee is too low in supporters eyes(majority of the time) then rightly so the supporters get angry and if the fee is high then we rightly as supporters expect some of the money to go to the playing budget. Our board imo have proved they don't care about the supporters or playing side with this sale. Why sell your best player with no chance of replacing him with anyone of his calibre so late on in the transfer window. WHY ?. We know the money isn't going to be used on the team and even if it was going to be whos left out there the rory bouldings or going back a few seasons the sean higgins' they aren't going to improve the team. This 'exceptional offer' doesn't fly with me, mcgrandles was only going to get better and holding onto him till next summer would have been the best thing for the team and the best thing for the club in terms of transfer fee imo. He was only going to attract more interest especially seen as the so called 'big boys' are in our league. Mcgrandles is the best player we have brought through our academy to date why sell him for the first decent offer.
