Thought mcgrandles was phenominal on wednesday. Phil roberts reaction to the fans was unacceptable and I don't we will see an apology anytime soon. The sooner mcrackens fit the better flynns a bombscare but what has happend to kieran duffie, defending was never his strong point but f**k me he was horrid. Big improvement needed tomorrow

Assuming mckracken is solid and holt brings in another good striker imo we have a team that can challenge. If we get a striker in preferably a tall one, roberts can drop back into the 3 infront of durojaiye we would then have three creative players that can make things happen and can chop and change positions to make our attack fluid.

Durojaiye just sits in the hole and is getting better and better every week this allows our other three midfielders to play. Our big pitch allows us to play our game however we might struggle away from home (ala dumbarton) on smaller pitchs.

I prefered loy to roberts he looked better on the ball and also looked for the ball all the time and was unlucky not to score. Both look good but both are a bit lightweight.

What was rory loy like for yous ? Hes playing as a trialist for us tomorrow and also played against forfar on tuesday and scored twice.

I believe durojaiye will be a great signing for us. From the games ive seen him play his passing is good with both feet and quite like millar he takes in the short passes and spreads it wide.

I feel durojaiye, alston and fulton are big enough to compete physically. It will be interesting to see what formation we play as from the friendlies it looks like durojaiye will sit just infront of the defence but some friendlies weve played with two upfront and others weve played with one.

Sell taylor for 200+k and offer scumfermline peanuts for morris. Im surprised holt hasn't even brought in a few loan signings surely norwich or paul lambert could give him a few promising youngsters without paying too much wages. If taylor goes and we only sign one player ill be devastated.

Herald reports rotheram put in a 200k bid for taylor on friday and our board are still mulling it over and they also say there is two other unamed english clubs who have bidded. 200k would be good but can't help but thinking if theres alot of interest surely we could get more fair enough hes only got one year left on his deal but goalscorers don't come around very often. Four players on 500p/w(our supposed wage cap) is 100k surely after all the money weve had come in over the last year the board will let holt bring in four players. We released 6 players(weatherston,flannigan,smith,fulton,dods,???? and got compensation for one(murdoch) surely to f**k were not only getting one player in.

Connor greene was outstanding winning headers against white and not afraid to put the boot in. Not seen much of mcgeever and before today I would have said he should be starting games but he was murder today. I agree with the fact biabi would me a good impact sub but we need another one or two(depending on the taylor situation) strikers. Does shepperd naturally play upfront because he didn't look like a striker today. After todays game id like to see our starting line up as:

Usually I go to friendlies as its good to see new players/trialists but im struggling to get excited for todays game as theres only one new face and he will only play for 45 mins.

I seriously hope that holt has replacements lined up for lyle taylor as imo hes a certainty to go hes big, powerful, rapid, is good with the ball at his feet and can finish.

Taylor is worth 350k minimum.
First priority must be a striker we can't go another season with one upfront surely and with taylor looking the most likely to go I don't want us to be trying to get last minute signings in like higgins.

Of course there was some sarcasm in my post hence the reference to bobby olejnik. But selling your best player for 50k is ridiculous morton must reak of desperation we sold higginbotham in january for a reported 150k and he only had 6 months left on his contract.

If one of our players leaves for a decent amount of money whats the chances of our board giving holt money to try and win the league its a win/win if we don't get promoted we will have sevco and hearts in the league and possibly even dunfermline and killie.
