Somebody on the facebook page posted a picture of the team training at little kerse today, it was difficult to make out as the photo looked like it had been taken off a tattie but I couldn't see a Wilson or a Holt and neither incidentally have been in anything the club has put out. Counted 19 bodies, some of which were youngsters, 2 goalkeepers in Martin & Morrison and a few other unfamiliar faces. Given we're supposed to have 20 signed players that means a fair few of them were missing today which is positive. Obviously could just be injured but I'd rather think positively. On the negative front Mckay, Hetherington and Seb Ross were visible.

Fancy sending him our way, would be lovely in beside Stephen McGinn.

We had Kyle Mcclelland on loan from sevco the season before last. He looked okay but as soon as he was up against a physical striker he was like a lost little boy. Was only 18/19 at the time so he's maybe done some work to improve on the physical side of the game since then. We had Lewis Neilson on loan at the same time and he stuck out like a sore thumb. Far more physical and extremely good on the ball.

It's just more prominent due to there not being any football on at the moment so we're relying on some signings to excite us. Definitely need another 6/7 signings in so I'm glad we've done a fair amount of business early on, we'll also have been pipped to other signings by championship clubs. Airdrie and the Scum have only made the two new signings this summer as another comparison. Queens needed a full rebuild so no surprise to see them bring in a fair few, the quality of some of their signings has been guff though. We need energy in the team now which is obviously more likely to come from the loans we bring in but I'm still hopeful McGlynn manages to find a bit more quality to bring in permanently as well.
