  1. Must be saving all our signings for a big saucy reveal tomorrow.
  2. If he wants to play for a city club it's realistically Athletic or Albion for him. Dunfermline have pulling power now. Or anywhere with a morrisons and a train station.
  3. There have been stranger things happen in football but given his love in for the navy blue I doubt he'll end up at Dunfermline. QP's sugar daddy has gazumped us the last time it was mentioned in our thread, apparently dishing out some lovely signing on bonuses.
  4. Obviously this is just me speculating but I read that as, we had 720k in the bank in the summer of 2021, we've lost 900k+ over the 2021/22 season so essentially we're at -280k. Surely we've not lost the 720k along with an extra 900k.
  5. I can only go off the information we've received from the board and what's been said on here but I believe the 900k refers to just this years loss and that's down to numerous different attrocities at the club. The aim is to bring that down to 400k for the next year. The new board have only been in charge since about November so they've revamped the non playing side of things, reducing the number of paid staff members we have at the same time thus hopefully decreasing costs. Commercially we've clearly been a trainwreck for the last few years, someone mentioned on here there were sponsorship boards up in our stadium 3 years after they'd last paid anything to the club simply down to the fact nobody had been keeping track of it. So companies had 3 years of free sponsorship at the stadium due to us being absolute basket cases. Also reported on here whoever signed up the last shirt sponsor agreed to monthly payments and we only ever received the first payment and that's it. Bringing in a fud nugget of a DOF then having to pay him off as he's absolutely shite at whatever he does also doesn't do wonders for the money pit. Of course this is only the tip of the iceberg as there must be many other things that have yet to come out which are probably even more damning than the above.
  6. James Maxwell announced as leaving Sevco, he'll have much better offers no doubt but bring him home.
  7. I think the traffic last night was a bit of a riot so I'd recommend getting through as early as you can. You've got the industrial estate just behind the mcdonalds on earlsgate roundabout or the opposite side of the stadium you'll find a space in the housing estate.
  8. I think you're a tit but you're getting a greenie for "you wee red dot Rambo" as that's actually half decent.
  9. What did you lot make of Breen last season? I thought he looked a decent prospect when on loan at Partick but obviously as with most young centre backs had the odd clanger in him. To be perfectly honest a year ago I was in here bumming up Ross Graham as a good signing having watched him for Cove and you lot hated him.
  10. Thanks for the detailed summary. There's been a fair few posts on here lately about the fact Mcglynn wants to train on grass so spending 30-35k to train at little kerse in my eyes wouldn't be a bad deal especially given how bad our pitch actually is at the moment, the less it's used by our first team the better until it's replaced. The new board do need to take responsibility yes but I think it's only fair they lay out what they've had to work with as all the mess they inherited will have undoubtedly slowed down any progress they've been able to make especially as they've had to spend a massive whack of their time fixing the off field stuff. Rennie was guff, hindsights a wonderful thing but at the time I reckon the majority of people would have had him over Brian Rice so the majority of us would have also made the wrong decision. Rennie then chose to sign Griffiths with the budget he was given the board shouldn't really have anything to do with who the manager signs, just ask Lex Miller. Mcglynn on the face of it is a cracking appointment so it's now time for us all as fans to come together and do all we can to give him as big a budget as possible for next season so he can sort out the mess left on the park. Bring in the sexy signings!
  11. Just all paper talk and hearsay, we've not had much leaked out the club lately as to who we're trying to sign which is a dramatic change, last season we got our pre season update from a fairly frequent poster on here who'd bumped into our then chairman in Tesco.
  12. Daily record reporting Brad Spencer's signed a new one year deal with Raith. Booooooo
  13. My mate caught this one of him on Portobello beach early this morning.
  14. One of the only players we were disappointed about leaving, tends to go missing in some games but on his day he's a brilliant player. We stupidly had him trying to do it all last season instead of getting him further up the park where he can actually affect the game. Still managed 5 goals and 8 assists for our shit mob last season so I'm quite interested to see where he ends up next. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't end up at an upper championship team as he's definitely capable of that level. I don't think he's a direct replacement for Spencer as is he not more of a deep lying ball winner? But he'd definitely improve your team.
  15. I also hope it's a drive through job, as Queens Park are ground sharing with Stenny now so their sugar daddy might hijack the meeting and buy a f**k load of the timbits to sweeten the deal.
  16. I reckon he's been on 4 separate holidays since he's been in charge of us, always going on wee jaunts. Hopefully just going to meet potential players and telling his Mrs it's a holiday.
  17. Massively, did you not see us last season?
  18. Mcglynn said in his first interview the next few weeks would define our season, we're almost on week 4 since said interview and preseason starts next week. My optimism's building but we still need a good few players in and out before I start to get excited about this season. Goalkeeper PJ Morrison Paddy Martin Luke Holt Defenders Blair Sneddon Ryan Williamson Brad Mckay Leon McCann Paul Watson Liam Henderson Coll Donaldson Midfielders Callumn Morrison Steven Hetherington Aidan Nesbitt Craig Mcguffie Seb Ross Strikers Jaime Wilson Finlay Malcolm
  19. Mcglynn will be doing his best to offload the majority of the leftovers from last season so hopefully he manages to do so.
  20. Well if true I'm happy with that as he's definitely not worth over 1k a week. Henderson's a good signing especially getting him to drop down a league, Donaldson I'm more on the fence with but I like the fact the scum were raging he wasn't staying there especially considering they've just been relegated, he must've shown something. PJ's proved he's got what it takes to be a good keeper at this level and I reckon we'll most likely see another keeper in to challenge him for the starting jersey. I'm sure someone said the players were due back for preseason next week so we'll hopefully see a few more signings before then
  21. Torn between whether I want the 30 goals a season striker next or the centre midfielder who runs through brick walls on his holidays for fun.
