If Mathie is the one telling managers that he signs the players, could he fucking get a move on and sign someone.

I think it’s the wind and rain that may be the issue
20mph winds, no rain. But then again it is only a forecast so probably be hurricane bawbag mk2 by the time Saturday comes

Not really sure which forecast people are looking at but it’s meant to be between 8 & 9 deg at kick off

Aye it’s a penalty, no doubt. Ref didn’t do us any favours there.

I actually think that's the worst non-award of a penalty I can remember seeing. I don't know how it could be more blatant.
Most of the time complaints from fans on Saturday nights about terrible decisions turn out to be wrong (see Edinburgh City last night) so I take the comments with a pinch of salt, but that yesterday is an absolute shocker.
Obviously he may have missed, and I don't know what other wrong decisions there were in the game, but given the time in the match Ayr seem to have won a watch with that decision.
Under normal circumstances I/we would class that as “won a watch”, but keeping Bullen in a job for another week is not winning anything.

Assuming we have 11 players.
Probably could do it with 9 tbh.

Read this and remembered someone I use to work with had a saying of aimed at duck, hit pidgeon and eat crow. Sums us up right now.

Bye bye Lee Bullen,
Lee Bullen good bye.

I think Ayr fans might be fairly split on who’s worse between Ahui and McAllister but for me the latter is much worse. I think what makes it worse is there’s an arrogance with McAllister where he thinks he’s better than he is.
Maybe not arrogance, could be confidence in his own inability?

Yikes.
It’s alright, you can still save it. Just refer to Bullen as Bald Gilet Man, infer that folk who drink in the hub are somehow sycophants and that folk who stand in the Somerset road end are one step along the evolutionary chain from an amoeba. Oh and refer to anybody with a less than catastrophic disposition as a “happy clapper” or the new WATTOO(admittedly a fanny). A Bangala joke never goes amiss either. Stick to these guidelines and you’ll be right as rain on here.
I’ve stood in the Somerset road end for decades and while it does have its fair share of roasters I’ve also stood on the north terrace a fair few times and there is usually a fair scattering of Star Wars cafe patrons stood around it. Suffice to say they are as bad or good as each other.

I imagine the Davidson appointment for QP will be somewhere in the range of not completely terrible.
I think he will get them organised, which is definitely a major worry as we are shambolic.
It’s pretty shit when we’re worrying about who other clubs appoint as manager (myself included) and shows where we’re at. Just a pity the “powers that be” can’t see this.

Do you think he's ever done this with them?

"The van doors opened, guys with masks rag-dolled us out, head-locked us, flipped on the floor. We were blindfolded with ear muffs on. They were dragging us about rooms bouncing us off walls in total darkness."
Partick Thistle are second-bottom of the Scottish Championship. Their bleak start to the season spelled the end for boss Alan Archibald but under his successor, Gary Caldwell, the Firhill side have failed to win any of their five matches.
Caldwell decided to do something different - radically different. He arranged for his team to spend a day with the British Army's Parachute Regiment based at Garelochhead in Argyll and Bute.
One player ran off into the hills and was hauled back by four soldiers. Another broke down in tears. It was a team-building exercise that pushed them to their limits. This is what happened when the SAS "kidnapped" the Partick Thistle squad.
If they are gonna get kidnapped (including bullen)can we just not pay the ransom?

People saying we weren't that bad today are obviously slightly swayed by the fact we scored and should probably have scored at least another, but defensively that was an abomination.
To save our season, he needs to go and it needs to be now. Our home record is an utter disgrace, you cannot keep serving that dross up to people.
Have to agree with this and ict could have easily scored another couple.

Been told it’s quite frosty in Ayr, game in any danger? Was planning on coming down for this, first game in ages (for various reasons!!)
To be a “balmy” +6 degrees by kick off with blue skies. Should be fine.

I don't think that was a wake up call for Bullen, judging by his antics in the hub afterwards. Mathie maybe, dunno about Smith, prob not.
Should maybe have clarified that this “should” have been the wake up call.

Mad that we have a sports psychologist yet we have a team full of pea hearted shitebags. That's two games in a row that Bullen has called out their mentality. In fairness, he does admit its a wake-up call for himself, too.
Think the wake-up call for Bullen, Mathie & Smith was after the utter roasting from Partick in the play offs. Nothing has really changed from last season (well maybe got worse) and we’re minus Akinyemi.

Implies that other teams are probably fitter than Ayr as well. Maybe our guys are running too hard too soon and get out of puff.
Or maybe (they do) the substitutions weaken us. The quality coming off the bench is generally poorer.

So your saying even thick people are starting to question if mathie is getting things wrong, may be something in that then.
