The top level of the competition is comparable though. There are less of them but still a competitive competition and your golf isn't going to go massively downhill just because those outside the top 15 are not as good.
None of the European players on LIV did anything to be in contention of a pick though and America could pick the LIV players so not really a factor in the Ryder cup this year.

Not sure what makes LIV less competitive.

Captain's always seem to get the flack but not sure what was really wrong with Johnson's pairings as such.
Coltart made a good point that 9 of the US team haven't played in 5 weeks which can't be ideal.
BMW would have been good preparation for them.

Speith can't hit the ball straight currently. His absolutely brilliant short game gets him out of trouble but risky for Foursomes. Saying that can't get any worse for them.

We don't have a reserve team or youth team and we can't just spend money on a big squad who never play. I think we have a decent balance with 4 natural centre backs and decent cover through the team. Another natural left back would be my only addition on what we have.

Clark not making a 4 after his drive on 18 was an arse collapse.

There are a few that have been wild on the back 9. Boabs putting has let him down the most.

Certainly won't see him in foursomes but he may play fourball to keep other players fresh.

I fucking hate Jordan Speith. Gotta say Boab cant really complain if he gets benched tomorrow so far…
Difficult to tell with the coverage.

I don't think we are that light to be honest. You don't want a lot of players not getting game time. Think the overall squad size is about spot on with Hammy still to return.

Might have showed some highlights of the 16th though.

1 game on the course and no coverage of it.

Got to hit the target.

Hall has capitulated.

Does it not deflect off of Maddison which would mitigate it?

Some ok amateur highlight here.

Was reading a bit about the 2008 Massa legal bid. What I don't get is it is about Singapore but surely it would only end up with Hamilton getting more points as would be second with an Alonso DQ. Massa drove out of the pit with his fuel hose which wasn't Renault's doing.

They want him to finish second more convincingly.

Agree Fraser was a very good speaker whereas Scott is more of an enthusiastic ‘yer da’ type fan and at times I find some of the things said very funny even if they are ridiculous, also gets proper into it like a supporter and excited at us scoring etc which is endearing and genuine. Guys doing it out his own time and I appreciate that.
During Covid everyone moaned about the commentators too but if people try and put themselves into their shoes, it would be a hard thing to do especially live.
Highlights, camera work spot on now, what it’s like in Airdrie game should be standard and no zooming in or out like there had been. Replays and a wee bit more time to watch team celebrate after goals would be appreciated.
I agree mostly and I prefer him to Clive Tyldesley.
Just a bit annoyed that Airdrie put out a better highlights package than we did using our own footage.
Next week will be a tough test against an inform team but we definitely have confidence and match winners in the squad.

I can live with the commentary, I preferred Fraser but as you say there is plenty of effort going in even if it's not everyone's preference.
The highlights I just don't get. I thought we had a company doing these for us? They seem to have dipped massively.
It's obviously a good thing that these relatively minor details are the talking point though.

Ricky’s sending off, a good experienced referee has a word with him, he barely touches the guy at all, if anything he has a word with Gold for the initial foul. It can’t be dissent as he’s literally got the card out right away. Ricky’s 2nd yellow is probably a yellow
The Airdrie player two booking is really pathetic. Both weren’t yellows.
The first Airdrie booking was definitely a yellow. He pulls him down after Slater gets in front of him. The second is very harsh.
I don't think Little even touched him for the first yellow.

But do you not want to hear “he’s hit the beans on toast”?
I think I'd be happy never to hear that again.

Missing 3 of the 4 incidents involving yellow/red cards is shocking though. Our highlights used to be decent with replays etc but seem to be knocked up in 10 minutes these days.

I want the highlights with no commentary.
I watched the Airdrie version, far better, got all the key moments, no commentary and slow motion goal replays. https://www.airdriefc.com/dtv23-24/230916?fbclid=IwAR0--UWrIxLNpvKILkUh1ZriGPWa9mc6iLkKILsbSddNSfkrqLQNDVIluOk
Out highlights are amateur hour. Could do better myself on the laptop by at least including all the highlights.

What's with our highlights that they don't show the 2 reds or any replays of the goals. Pretty poor.

I think the management team thought they would pick up a few good loans last season like we had always done in the past but the change to the size of the bench and 5 subs has had a massive impact on availability of players.
Moving away from loans has been a wise move although it's always worth pursuing if an opportunity arises.
