What a frankly embarrassing reply that is. Many can’t afford to pay the fee required to become a shareholder so in your eyes they don’t deserve the same communication from the club.
You knew the friendly was being played as it was mentioned on here. The club isn't just waiting to post social media comments and some will be pre done to drop at a certain time or date. They were maybe waiting to confirm entry fee, card or cash gates or ticketing with Stirling before announcing it on our page.
If your that bothered email the club and don't moan on here about it. We've got more important things to moan about.

One of the issues that really had an impact last season on top of the recruitment was players leaving near the end of the transfer window. Low, Thomson, Donnely and Craigen all away in August. I can't see that being repeated this season.

Seaton park used to be a junior ground so can easily mark a full size pitch on it.
Gayfield would be a mess with 2 teams playing on it as said above.
Possibly will be the High School unless there is plans for an all weather option at Seaton.

Quite liked that testimonial kit although 4 kits in a season would definitely be too many.

We haven't even seen our team yet this season. No Slater, Mckenna, Gold, Hammy.
We need to add a couple and these players are not good enough so as long as we don't actually sign them we will have learnt from last season. Can't believe the meltdowns over this game.

Thought 12 was ok but that was just compared to the others who were dreadful. 17 couldn't even walk. 15 carthorse, 16 was terrible, 18 terrible. Positive was Stowe for me.
We need a left back though as there was so much space with a back 3 and no wing backs.

Is there any reason we don't actually put the charity on the kit somewhere? Same with the Penumbra one last season.
I remember Ewan Murray played as a trialist for us in League 2 and played like humpty dumpty. It is sometimes hard to judge over a few games especially if not match fit.

County sports was the name of the shop on the West Port then changed to Premier Sports I think. Sporting Look near the Abbey.
I liked it when they alternated home and away launches for kits and the stuff is far more expensive but it is the norm in the market now.
It's hard to say no to your kids but sometimes you have to do it or make them save up etc. Same price as a Ps5 game these days for a kit so it's all relative I suppose.

From the AGM.
Turnover trebled to £1.88m
Profit £238k
Are these not the figures from the previous season 21/22. I'm sure the accounts are a year behind.

Sorry but no way was Steele our best player last season. That would be Alex Ferguson from St. Johnstone.
I rated Sam Denham as better centre back than Steele.
Steele only moved to right back when Stewart Murdoch got injured and to his credit was fairly effective against limited opposition.
Alex Ferguson is a St Johnstone player though so not really relevant. Denham also out for up to a year with an acl injury so wouldn't be a target for many clubs at the moment.

Glad you took the time to announce this as the club still hasn't announced anything on their web site. Pretty poor communications again!
The club did announce it through their social media.

How is everyone forgetting Bobby Linn. We signed him from the juniors! I know that was totally different.
Seriously though there is certainly quality at these levels, the main thing is giving them a proper chance. We have been lacking players with flair in the team and this addition seems like a positive move. He's not a total youngster either so hopefully won't be treated as such.

I see they kept mentioning that the conference was a stepping stone to getting B teams into the main leagues. Ultimately as everyone knew the block on B teams getting promoted would only have been there for a short while before allowing them forward progress probaby upto the championship.
In the sea where it belongs.

St Mirren, Montrose, Forfar and Cowdenbeath.
Nice to get a couple of local ties.

I emailed the club this week, asking about it, and heard back today. They haven't discussed it yet.
They don't need to discuss it. Just say NO

Absolutely the correct decision in the end but half expected them to leave it as it wasn’t a clear and obvious error
I thought it was about as clear and obvious as you could get.

Thinking of goalies I think Ricky Gomes is up there as one of the best left field signings Campbell has made.
I think Hinchcliffe shades it but Gaston has been excellent overall.

So what are our forward options? Hilson gone, Adarkwa apparently gone (according to the in the knows on here), Shanks gone, Komolafe hopefully melted down for glue, Linn released back into the wild.
So just McIntosh right now?
This would be a big problem in July but not in May. The season isn't even fully over yet and contracts run until the end of May so even some potentially done deals may not be announced yet.
Bit early for doom and gloom to be kicking in!

At least the players are going now and not after the season has started like last year.

Il also say that there is no need for us to release new kit every year
I agree. If we're keeping the same kit manufacturer then alternate home and away years would be sufficient.

Signing a central midfielder comes as a big shock!
Seriously though seems like the correct kind of signing. Someone that has experience and had played at this level before going part time. These have been the signings that usually work the best for us.

Defending was piss poor.

Brilliant player for us and will be missed on and off the park. I'm sure we will see him play again at Ricky's testimonial next season.
Will have a good couple of enjoyable years at the juniors I would think.
Hopefully there can be a presentation like Swankie had after he hung up his boots at least.
