I doubt it. I really think he doesn't have a clue unfortunately. Desperately hope to be proved wrong but just can't see it turning round with the tactics he uses. Doesn't play to the squads strength enough. We seem to be a bit better away from home but it's crucial to turn gayfield into a winning ground if we want to stay in this league.Lowden off was baffling, you'd been just as well putting a warmed up Lowden further up to park instead of swapping him for Reid.
What you said is what should've happened.
It probably weakened us, no offence to Jamie but he was coming on with 5 minutes left, he would've needed that to get up to speed ffs let alone make more of an impact than a warmed up up to speed Lowden would've playing further forward.
Well IMO.
Eta: is there anybody who's even in the 'would be disappointed to see him go' camp, never mind the wanting him to stay one?

Most people have got behind Lumsden and gave him a chance but enough is enough. The decision to give him a 2 year deal when Moore only had 1 year is baffling. If Moore lost the dressing room and Lumsden managed not to be alienated by that he obviously wasn't backing his manager enough. Time to go or may be the Highland league for us.

Don't mind giving Hester more minutes but think having a go at Rutherford and Grehan is a bit unfair. Grehan has been solid but we lack the width on the pitch to give him the service. Rutherford has looked good and considering he's only started about twice a bit early to put his head on the block give him a chance to get match sharp. I would say we play more of a 4 3 3 or 4 3 2 1 than 4 5 1 as you couldn't call bobby or ramsay wide men.

To be fair we never signed Robertson after u20 because he went to the states. This time round we decided to go with someone else

Wilson is still lacking match sharpness so games like this can only help. We have options against Dunfermline if Whatley is fit.

You can't spend money you don't have. No point in having a great team on big wages if your club goes under. Bit harsh to criticise the boards wage policy without anything to back it up with.

I think lowden gets a bit of a hard time on here. He has played some decent games including playing very well in the December fixture at East Fife. Also was playing well against Montrose before being assaulted by big marv. Mcbride is no big loss for me would rather someone with a bit of pace who can get to the bye line than mcbride jogging about imo. Let's give Lowden a chance to prove himself in his first full season

It's a bit of a strange one being half of the management team that ended in disaster then getting a 2 year deal out of it when moore had only 1 year. I guess they must have spoken to senior players and put the good 1st half down to Tod and the poor second to Moore. Hope it all works out superbly and we join rovers in league 1

Rumour says that Murray will be at Forfar on loan next season. They have quite the ex lichties squad going on. Can't believe Travis couldn't get a game in a defence with no defenders but plays week in week out for Forfar.

I don't think many wanted Lumsden if any to be honest. Most once appointed were ready to give him a chance and get behind him and rightfully so. Negativity from the start was uncalled for. That said he's had a chance now and it's not working. He needs to change his philosophy or its time to go.
