  1. Glasgow green was a phenomenal performance musically. Brown's vocals were perfect.
  2. Do you have some examples of that? Not having a go but i'm a massive roses fan and other than "Velocity Girl" by the Primals i can't think of any other note for note copies. The guitar line in Fool's Gold had been round the block a few times, mind you and Tim Buckley had a similar arpeggio to Ressurection on Buzzin' Fly but that's about it
  3. My shitty band at the time backed them up at a gig in 1992!
  4. HB is getting a bit ratty because he knows in his heart yes will win this. I expect this time next week he'll be saying he wasn't that bothered.
  5. So that's my entire family and wife's family voting yes including all their in laws. Every acquaintance I meet is yes. I must move in really cool circles or it's going to be a right solid yes victory.
  6. It's from Faisal Islam @skynews Very interesting indeed
  7. Cheers but I can't find any mention of it on sky twitter
  8. Big deal; Orangemen having a circle w**k in a kitchen are generally no voters.
  9. Aye, that was the joke, you thick twat.
  10. This whole "I don't believe in borders maaaaan" shit is ridiculous. Grow up. The world population is ordered into nation states and thank f**k that it is. This is the way of things so stop coming out with the 'last refuge of the scoundrel' line because all your other unionist pish has been debunked. Scotland is not a region and anyone claiming it is is a moron. The act of union was between Scotland and England not Lanarkshire and Lincolnshire. Indeed, this argument is the last refuge of the britnat fandan
  11. Scotland has a fair share of utter wankers and a huge amount of shitebags but day by day they are shiting it less and there will be enough good guys to carry us to independence. One day the no voters will thank those of us who had the vision and balls to bring democracy to Scotland.
  12. Isn't it funny when no voters see themselves as pragmatic types and yes voters are dreamers? It's actually the opposite in most cases. Most no voters I see online or know personally have some crazed view about old Blighty's traditions and an absolute obsession with two wars from the last century. Yearning for a state that basically doesn't exist any more ain't pragmatic.
  13. So HB is saying Scotland is a region therefore there is no democratic deficit. Fine. It's bullshit but hey ho. Funny how no-one else from better together will call Scotland a region.
  14. Yes; almost. The union contains constituent countries. My country, Scotland, has a democratic deficit when Westminster governments are elected. There is no disputing this. What no voters could say is "I can accept the deficit as I believe the benefits are outweighed by our loss of democracy". They could say this but they don't.
  15. Ok, I think you and I have taken this as far as we can. At this late stage for someone to still come out with that level of shite shows that you'll merrily skip about from one debunked argument to the next purely because you're voting no.
  16. Oh dear! "Scotland is not a bloc vote"... Yeah, that's what the referendum is about; a government chosen by the Scottish people for the Scottish people. What did you think the referendum was about?
  17. I don't know how I can make it simpler for you. If the majority in England vote for a particular party then that party will be the government or choose a coalition partner. If the majority in Scotland vote for a particular party Scotland only gets the government chosen by the English vote. You didn't know this? You should be voting yes, mate.
  18. Really mate? Really? So England gets the government they vote for 100% of the time and we get the government we vote for 50% of the time. That's a democratic deficit. Do you understand this? Hold on. You're just at the wind up, right?
  19. You are choosing to ignore the glaring democratic deficit which Scotland experiences within the UK. Shall i spell it out? England votes tory; Scotland votes labour - Scotland gets tories. No amount of chicanery is going to change that fact. Typical no voter doesn't understand/ won't acknowledge the democratic deficit. Fucking LOL
  20. So you don't understand the democratic deficit? There's a surprise . It seems to be a really hard thing for no voters to figure out. Evidenced by none other than Mr.Darling screaming at Alex Salmond, "I didn't vote for you!!!" Lol
  21. Does the country of Scotland have a democratic deficit? In your own time.
