  1. Oh the Scottish people are interested all right. Have no doubt about that. The only thing stopping a landslide yes is scumbag better together politicians and their press corps and tv pals terrifying pensioners etc into denying themselves democracy. It's the great shame of our age and you know it along with the rest of your sort. 60 - 40 YES
  2. Says the guy calling us clowns. I don't think you're a dickhead mate, i think you're a fanny. Spot the difference?
  3. Why do so many people mis-understand what is meant by a democratic deficit? Over to you , Mr.Bairn.
  4. Imagine being a Scot on polling day and actually voting away your own money, your power to make decisions and voting to maintain a democratic deficit. What sort of person would actually do that? What benefits would thing bring to yourself, your family or your country?
  5. Really?? Open your eyes a wee bit then. I'm all over this stuff online and the blood in the streets patter is 99% from bitters.
  6. Most pleasing. I've noticed a few more 'blood on the streets' type comments from the no camp in the last few days. They're getting rattled. Basically if we vote for independence some factions will not accept democracy and say they will resort to violence. No doubt a few groups of loyalists may shout a wee bit louder at ibrox but that'll be it.
  7. Why do bitters constantly say the polls haven't changed when they clearly have?
  8. This Reynard guy seems a bit upset? What with all his swearing and abuse it's almost like he's getting rattled.
  9. I find p and b to have a reasonable standard of debate and there are a lot of bright people posting here; there are a lot of dafties on Facebook. You get that, right?
  10. Yeah, I know we are behind but smart people tend to vote yes.
  11. I find that within well-educated circles the yes campaign are clear winners and by some margin. This is backed up by what we see on here and what's on the wife's Facebook ...
  12. Has anyone ever been to a proper dark sky location? I've wondered for years what you can actually see. There are loads of google images but i suspect they have been doctored or filtered or some-such. Coming back to Oban from Colonsay on the night sailing you get a really good view (shooting stars, the milky way from the corner of your eye etc) but can you really see stuff like in the video below from earth with the naked eye? http://vimeo.com/75542539 Great thread btw
  13. Great band. Saw them four times i think :/ The first of which was in gourock in 1991!
  14. I'm doing a dry january and have lost 6lbs so far. But i just ate two bowls of cereal. Damn you, chocolate wheetos. I should just stop buying cereal.
  15. Thanks for that, mhak. I couldn't find much about it, probably because i wasn't explaining myself very well. I'm going to leave the bar up for good now
  16. Yeah i know that mhak, thanks though. When i used to train with weights i got very lean but hardly bulked up...i know how much work it takes! I was his meaning because i wasn't bulkjng up would it be ok to skip the rest days. Some posters have said they do a few everytime they pass the chin up bar
  17. Re chin ups. Is it ok to do these every day? I'm not wanting to get massive arms so is it ok to miss the "rest" days and make it a daily exercise?
  18. I thought Les Miserables was superb. Even if you don't fancy it I'd say give it a go. Django was a bit "meh" i thought. Obviously some great set pieces and performances but i was bored quite a bit. An hour too long. I'm going to watch silver linings tonight. Hopefully it will live up to the book.
