Just a quick calculation for anyone interested that Zak Rudden's goals (if you were to work out wins that would have been draws or draws losses etc etc) have been worth an extra 11 points for us this season. With the lack of goalscoring touch we've had this season, we'd have been so incredibly fucked without him.

We deserve to go down. Before Saturday, I thought we were gone. I'd bite your hand off for 9th now. Maybe I'm just pessimistic...

You're probably right. After the first half of the season I had mentally prepared myself for relegation. We've had it in our hands enough in the second half of the season in order to get ourselves out of it but if we continue to shit the bed we'll get what we deserve.

Just seen that Rudden's contract is up in the summer. I'd imagine they will offer him a new deal, but if they don't we surely have to be in there with a good shot?

Hippolyte scored, was playing well in his last appearance against QOS in a 3-2 win in December 2017 - I remember I was surprised at how much he looked up for it that day - until he got injured, taken off and was never seen again after he was shipped out by Hartley. The idea he 'downed tools' is a myth.

All I care about is getting another striker in. Rudden needs help, and if he gets injured/suspended we are so, so fucked. I will genuinely be apoplectic with rage if we don't sign another forward. Whilst the right-back issue is crucial and it is baffling it hasn't been sorted yet, if we are going to sign one of the two, it has to be a striker.
