  1. How many weeks now has McIntyre squeezed the *** out of the most boring hypothetical of Watson vs Barron? He’s taken to asking every c**t, all who respond with a non-commital “it’s tough they’re both two gid young boiz”. Tiresome.
  2. Apologies and hold my hands up if folk thought I was was encouraging a pile on, certainly wasn’t my intention. Was too harsh in the immediate aftermath of the game and too strong in my comment. My bad.
  3. Bisland will be lucky to be playing League Two next season. An absolutely howling footballer
  4. Gold medal at the Olympics for that divethese refs man Actually think we’ve been pretty poor but should still be about 4 up. Sums up where we are at this level tbf
  5. Starting the petition to have the return of gold badge/lettering on next seasons kit, because, if done properly, it'll look a belter. And what better time to do it after waltzing to a league title! Every faith in O'Neills to release another brammer, but gold on navy blue is fucking SEXY
  6. I get folk have their opinions on Burrell and that's totally fine, I get it, but scoring 21 league goals in an absolutely bowfin Cove team is a decent effort. It's also voted on by the players tbf. Morrison will win it. Obviously.
  7. One of the only good things about being totally rancid for years was it was so much easier to go for a pie and a pish in the stadium than it has been recently. The trade-offs of success I suppose…
  8. At the stage of genuine bemusement that the TV cameras in Scotland can broadcast a Championship game with 1,200 people and get all “we’re very sorry if the language has offended you” when some old boy goes “f**k sake, ref”, but 25,000 people bellow out about being up to theirs knees …….. and everyone just pretends like it doesn’t happen.
  9. Hearts don’t lie to down to Rangers challenge (impossible)
  10. Nesbitt is (quite rightly) getting a lot of praise because he’s turning up in moments / games that in the last two years he would have disappeared in. The problem he had was that he’d have a couple of really good games and then go completely off it for 3 or 4 afterwards; I think consistency is where a lot of people questioned him previously, including me. This season he’s been incredibly consistent, while adding a considerable chunk of end product to his game too. Absolutely fair play to him.
  11. also how much was that ref choking for Kelty to score
  12. The majority of the fans were excellent today - second half spell in particular with both stands singing the Navy Blue clearly gave the team a little boost.
  13. Tait MOTM for me, thought he was immense and for a player on loan he clearly fucking loves the Navy Blue
  14. Just when you think you’ve seen the worst ref this level has to offer, there’s always another one
  15. ‘Swerve and dribble’ is going to be the new ‘it’s the councils fault’ isn’t it
  16. I agree with both of your points wholeheartedly; it's clear for most what he adds to the team and why he's in it. I'm not looking to dispute that whatsover. Where my concern lies is that we've created a barrowload of chances this season, and with that he's missed a considerable number of sitters too. Even the most optimistic of us on here would likely admit that even if we do well next year, we won't create as many as we do in League One, so being more clinical will become extra important. Probably important to highlight he's on 14 goals in the league which is a decent haul btw. But with that I've said in mind, you play a game in the Championship against one of the better sides and you might get one or two clear cut chances in a game; I'm not sure you put your money on him to finish them yet. You could argue what he brings to the team is more important than his goal tally, and that's an argument I'd have some sympathy with. But I don't think highlighting finishing is totally unfair, either. Edit to add: his game is obviously still improving all the time, so not outwith the question for him to become more clinical (I hope he does!). Just calling it as I've seen it this season.
  17. That's an incredibly, incredibly harsh take on MacIver above. I feel there's a legitimate conversation to be had as to whether he's clinical enough (I don't think he is) or whether he should be our starting striker in the Championship next season (I'm undecided on this), but he's played a significant role this year and done better than any of us expected.
  18. Maybe in the minority but I think I may go for Miller vs Accies. Went mental when that went in. After Hogarth had flung them a route back into it (I forgive you, Nicky), Falkirk teams of old would have crumbled but we went right up the park, said “f**k you” and went right back at them minutes later. Confirmation that day we would do it, for me. Was also right behind it and it was a fucking ARROW. Scenes.
