  1. which of my points do you disagree with? and no im not faux offended. i am really offended by what your club has done and is doing, and generally im not a 'i hate ****' sort of celtic fan. im not disgusted coz its rangers, im disgusted because your club has done so much wrong and yet still you are revelling in the harm you are causing scottish football.
  2. you dont care that your club has done a lot wrong you dont care that you have inflicted great harm on the scottish game, you revel in it. you enjoy success even though you know its built on cheating would you agree with these three points?
  3. could go off on a big tangent here but, just to ask the question again. the question wasnt 'which body is quicker at arresting criminals' but 'isnt blaming the SFA for Rangers immorality and illegality just like blaming the police for thefts and murders'?
  4. i think you are pretty representative of rangers fans as a whole you dont care that your club has done a lot wrong you dont care that you have inflicted great harm on the scottish game you revel in it. you enjoy success even though you know its built on cheating would you agree with these three points and that its symptomatic of rangers fans as a whole?
  5. well they can, and in england they often do get this. the problem was created the minute the SPL made it known they might accept a newco route. fact is the only reason the cva offer is so shite is because the **** can say 'take the cva or we will newco and youll get nothing' fact is, if the SPL said - we dont accept newcos. our rules say we dont accept clubs without 3 years of history, even if the **** go to the juniors for 3 years we will only accept them if they have a different name and they wont take the history of the old club, then definitely there would be a bigger CVA offer on the table. fact is too, its entirely possible for the **** to offer a cva which pays off all of their debt over say 10 years. they just dont want to.
  6. firstly, a couple of smaller fines that you wont pay anyway? are you being serious? you could easily have afforded to pay your PAYE but to do so would have meant selling some of the expensive team you bought even though you knew you had a big tax bill coming. the problem with your, and by your i mean the whole rangers management and support and media's 'big bad boy swindled us' argument is that whytey did exactly what his predecessor and successor did/will do. SDM borrows the money to buy the club, doesnt put in any money, steals money, shafts the taxman (by way of the ebts) shafts other clubs by way of having an illegal advantage sells it to.. CW who at least pays the whole amount to buy the club, 1 pound, but borrows the money he needs against it, steals money, shafts the taxman (by not paying PAYE) shafts motherwell and nearly shafts celtic by having an illegal advantage and the administrators come in, take lots of money (from the taxman in practice...shafted again) and sell to.... CG who's borrowing money to buy the club, taking the money back out of the club so making the fans buy the club for him, not illegal but morally dodgy, shafting the tax man (by way of making the ebt case irrelevant) shafting other clubs by not paying debts to them and creating an immoral advantage coz the club will have avoided all their debt whilst still keeping a squad that they only managed to buy in the first place by cheating the tax man and other clubs... you have to admit, theres a wee bit of a pattern here. add in dave king, paul murray and lets face it rangers have been a den of iniquity for a long time. in fact lawrence malborough, the owner in possibly your most successful period was the only owner to ever run you on a morally decent keel (his predecessors being bigots) and actually made profits. doesnt that tell you something?
  7. didnt motherwell have to make a huge part of their staff and squad redundant? or did i just imagine that?
  8. so far rangers havent in practice been punished either. a fine that will just come at pence in the pound from the creditors pot. a 10 point deduction in a league they'd lost anyway, and in which the 3rd placed team didnt reach 2nd partly coz rangers fielded a team stronger than they could legally afford to field. they could have sold mcgregor and Davis for example and would have been able to pay PAYE but would have been weaker. and lets face it, motherwell basically just overspent trying to stay afloat. not defending it but compared to what rangers have done...... using a loophole which they (in all likelyhood wrongly) thought would allow them to shaft the tax man to the tune of what, 30 million. shafting the taxpayers of another 50 million in debt shifted onto murrays debt mountain, to be paid off by the tax payer. a little mentioned 6 million haircut accepted by lloyds (how often did paul murray lie about the board getting the debt down to 18 million?) avoiding, is it now 18 million in PAYE and other taxes, which they could have paid if they had wanted to, simply by selling a few players signing players they knew they wouldnt pay for paying ex managers tax free bungs a decade after they left the club, but suspiciciously not long after yet another strange signing of a player from rangers for too much money offering a cva for basically nothing in the pound whilst boasting about transfer warchests putting their fellow clubs and the national team in the firing line by going to court basically threatening any team who votes any punishment against them that they'll face boycotts and anyone that votes for punishments that they'll be named and threatened im sure ive missed afew things. i think dundee and motherwell acted disgracefully but not remotely in the same ball park as rangers.
  9. well actually, any other team would have paid their taxes in the first place.
  10. agree not only with your post, but with the idea of splitting tv money equally. i would go further and say that if the **** get booted out to the 3rd division, we should offer as goodwill to the wee teams, not to take any of the tv money until the **** get back to the SPL. relatively the tv money is buttons to us, but it would help towards a big hole in the other teams finances. we realistically will get more european money with them out of the way so we'd still be up.
  11. did you see the post by barcabhoy on rangerstaxcase.com, which you could dismiss as speculation til rangerstaxcase himself gave it the stamp of approval barcabhoy said Barcabhoy says: 26/05/2012 at 2:19 am Adam doesn’t bother me in the slightest. He has absolutely no influence on the outcome of this farce. He can therefore put his view into play any time he likes as far as i’m concerned What may be of interest to him, and others, is that the very worst of the offenses committed by Rangers have yet to be properly put into the public domain. In fact they haven’t been put there at all. They will be and when they are, they will be beyond belief. In fact I had a problem believing it myself initially. At the point of disclosure I very much look forward to reading Adam’s efforts to put forward the alternative view. It’s not my story so i can’t control the disclosure timescale, but when it comes out it will be nuclear Just to make this clear, what has still to come out is worse than illegally registering players, is worse than using VAT and PAYE as cash-flow, is worse than deliberately not paying fellow clubs, is worse than deliberately abusing the EBT system its much worse…… My advice to those who know what they have done……don’t walk away…….run away as fast as you can, preferably to somewhere without an extradition treaty with the UK……because you know what you have done, and you know that its coming out. and rangerstaxcase himself said rangerstaxcase says: 26/05/2012 at 11:20 am For those of you excited by Barcabhoy’s post, I know what he is talking about, and his post is correct. There is a lot of leg in this story yet. a lot of chatter that its connected with Celtic Underground ‏@celticrumours Gavin Masterton - 18 years later I suppose you'd have been entitled to think you'd got away with it.
  12. so just because you are powerful, you shouldnt be punished? is that genuinely your point? i dont see any hypocricy or lack of integrity in the difficult situations the wee clubs are in. its clear to them that your team need to be punished, but its also clear to them that if they punish you as you should be, they will be the ones to suffer. its understandable that this is an issue to them, and its understandable why they will look for a punishment that doesnt hurt them far worse than you. that to me is common sense, what exactly do you disagree with?
  13. when you signed lee wallace among others, knowing that the only way you could afford to do that was to stop paying your PAYE, that was cheating, clearly. rangers fans talk like white kept the PAYE money in his drawer. fact is if he had paid PAYE you had to have sold a few more players or you would have been in administration much earlier. and no, you are right, you havent been found guilty of cheating yet in terms of illegally registering players and avoiding tax on them, over a period of well over a decade. however this is a forum not a court of law. on the balance of probablilities, its pretty likely, looking at what we know, that you are going to be found guilty, and if rules are followed fairly, you will be banished from scottish football.
