The only thing stopping this would be a “Sweetener” from the SFA to both clubs. However, this would be illegal. Spartans and Linlithgow Rose, and a few others I have no names for, are taking legal action against the SFA and New-Co on this matter. As this story breaks, second by second, it is hard to keep up. I am saying this as I have been told by a person affiliated highly within football. “From the horse’s mouth” was the answer I got. A court case looks likely, and this will take ANY time up the New-co has to come back in any form Also New-co could lose as many as 12 more players tomorrow. I think they should be wound up, no newco, no league, no team. Bottom line is that they are toxic, their fans are toxic, the rest of Scottish football dont want them. Just finish it. Leave them consigned to history as the cheats and bigots. Kill them off permanently. No-one so far has had the baws to pull the pin and throw the grenade to finish them off. I dont actually think people are being presumptious, more trying to predict or somehow look at what will happen. The general concensus is that you dont deserve to exist at all, never mind in a lower division. The thing about it is, if as you predict, Sevco end up in the 1st division next season, there is a lot less chance you'll spend only one season in it as its the most competitive league in our country and it'll be a bit of a culture shock (as will the 2nd or 3rd) division to your players (whoever they may be). It wont be the walk in the park your general support think it will. Anyhow, there are a few hurdles to overcome before you even get a shot at any league. The Liquidators will be going over the asset sale with a fine toothcomb and ANY sign of misplay and its game over before you even start. Winding up order and cheerio forever. Plus there is the matter of the old co sanction that they havent been given yet, but as they technically still own the footballing side of your newco, if expulsion or suspension is given as punishment, then Sevco will have to grin and bear it (forgive the pun), because if the licence is revoked, then it cant be transferred till its valid. I may be wrong and if I am then fair enough, but I dont think its as cut and dried as Sevco just taking up where Rangers left off. There is still a very realistic chance you wont have a team to support after July. All this about the newco being a company and nothing to do with the footballing side is complete nonsense. Without the company you dont have a team, without the team you dont have a company. They are one and the same whether you argue till you are blue in the face. The other stumbling block is that I'd imagine there is not a club in the land will sell you players without cash up front . The tide has turned and its perhaps time your fans get used to it.

You wont need to worry about that arent the newco supporters boycotting all the SPL clubs anyway? (Cant bring myself to calling the the R*****s). I dont think it will come to that and I still think that they wont exist beyond July. They may come back in the lower leagues at some point but at this late stage, I dont see it being in time for the start of next season. Its surely both financially and Logistically not possible? IMO , I think the earlier suggestions of all the "Diddy" supporters boycotting the Newco is still a valid option. Might be worth contacting respective supporters forums and mentioning that if we the supporters of all the decent non cheating/tax dodging clubs in the SPL refuse to recognise this newco as a member and therefore will not attend any games that our teams play them home or away. If that shower can use that as a threat, why cant the rest of us. Wouldnt look good if they were playing to stadiums with absolutely no supporters other than their own. Especially when the cry is "Nae Sky deal if they dont get into the SPL"

The ground at Murray park could raise a LOT of money. Its in a very sought after part of the area and I dont see developers having many problems getting permission to change use. Its happened all over East dunbartonshire (Where Murray park is), and its not that complicated for them to reroute the possible flood plain. I think East dunbartonshire council would be quite happy with the high band council tax income that could come in via a nice big upmarket housing development - something that is in very high demand in East dunbartonshire. I have a friend that lives in the area that works for the council and he told me that this is just a red herring too by the Rangers apologists.
