When he's not having a monumental brain fart, Jack Sanders is a very good centre back. Would have him permanently without a question.

We have played far better shooting towards the Railway End in every game under Brown.
The Queen's Park game would beg to differ. And it definitely damages the atmosphere.
Edit: unless you mean we played better in that particular half against QP, in which case that's true but it wouldn't be difficult.

You kicked off, so we chose ends. We seems to do that a lot, presumably to annoy the home fans.
Mullen got us a point tonight. We lost our way after scoring and didn't wake up again until the last five minutes or so.
Nah for the last few games now we have warmed up in the opposite half of the pitch and deliberately shot towards the home end in the first half. It's something we're assuming Brown has chosen to do but it is baffling.

So was Browns Tactics right or useless ?
Brown's worst tactic remains changing ends to shoot towards Somerset Road in the first half. Utterly nonsensical.

Missed opportunity, were the better team and would have won had we not went and conceded a carbon copy of the goal Morton scored last time they were here.
On the subject of Morton, what a band of dirty, dirty b*****ds. To be admired in a way, I suppose.

Afraid to say that's what I did today - opted for an amateur game instead. There's just absolutely nothing to get excited about with watching us at home these days.
Can genuinely understand why people do this. I enjoy football much more when I don't remotely care about the outcome.
Watching Ayr United is a total chore and, as someone who tends to only go to home games, this season has been one of the worst I can remember. Watching third rate players gift the away team 3 points in the freezing cold. Cannot be arsed.

Feel a bit for Bryden because he's just a not very good striker but is being asked to play wide despite not being quick, a good passer or dribbler. But he is terrible, he shouldn't be playing.
This is a huge part of the problem. I cannot comprehend the fact that someone who is so blatantly not up to Championship standard in his supposed 'natural' position has been given a new contract and a starting role on the wing every week. It is genuinely like playing with 10 men.

Honestly dumbfounded that a scattering of people applauded at the end there. Some people will genuinely applaud anything.

Should be about 4 down. Back to Bullenball this.

We are fucking sleeping here. Shite.

Playing our way right back into trouble. Superb.

I understand Bryden's usefulness off the ball but on the ball, he needs serious work. He has neither a real turn of pace nor a trick in him to beat anyone which essentially means that the best we can hope for when he's in possession out wide is a throw in or a corner.

What own goal? I could have sworn he swung at the ball and missed from where I was standing
Definitely an own goal, he took a swipe and shinned it into the net.

Just on Adeloye, wish people would stop booing him. He helped keep us up, went with our best wishes and more importantly, every time we pick a player out and boo them, they score...

Tomi's goal everyone just looked knackered or they completely switched off. The fact he scored and they got level came as no surprise and it took a moment of brilliance from McHugh, who looks very good technically, to turn the tide.
Musonda had a mare for Adeloye's goal, completely lost him. Wondered at the time how Adeloye managed to find so much space but that is why. Quick change of direction and he was away and Musonda was left with his arm in the air praying for offside.

This footage from someone's phone is actually far more watchable:

Felt a bit for Sanders last night. He looked devastated at the own goal and still looked a bit down even at Full-time.
I don't think he's great but I do think he's a decent enough defender at this level if he's surrounded by other competent defenders.

It really is poor and has been an issue for seasons now which Mathie said was going to be addressed, yet hasn't. Obviously the vantage point can't be rectified until the new stand is built, if they chose to go over there, but the sound and picture quality is just horrendous.
The British Pathe lads filming the 1925 FA Cup Final would be turning in their graves at that. There's better footage from the front lines at the Somme.
Not even just the audio and picture quality either. After McHugh's goal, they decided to show a replay of Sanders' own goal and a close range header from Adeloye instead. I appreciate they are volunteers and Lauren is a very good summariser but if we are charging actual money for that, it needs to be a priority.

Just out of interest, is that 2+ hour stream of last night's game that's on YouTube the actual stream that people were charged £15 for?
It's a shambles.
Apologies for being negative, mon the Super etc but ffs the quality of that stream is laughable.

Did not enjoy a single second of that game of association football. Fitbit had my heart rate at about 140bpm in that last 10 minutes ffs.

Leaving Somerset a seething mess has been quite a common theme this season.

Obviously against VAR in any form but f**k me these morons are making that stance difficult to justify.

Watched Rhys McCabe's interview with Airdrie TV and he says he's disappointed that someone didn't belt the ball into the stand to prevent our free kick being taken quickly. Fair point.
A quick check of the highlights shows that the closest person that would have been able to do that was none other than yer man Rhys McCabe.

Had no idea until last season just how different the gradient is between the Railway End and the Somerset Road End at Ayr. Absolutely night and day in terms of the view, SRE is slightly smaller but the gradient is far better for being able to see, which is mostly unfortunate because there have been some utter clusterfucks from the Ayr defence up at the away end over the years.
Having never done Arbroath away, I went for Morton as my first choice, although I very nearly didn't as the pumping we received at New Year in the rain is still an extremely fresh wound.

Cannot be remotely arsed with this season any more. Moronic red card, let's be honest. Just a total liability.
