Just out of interest, is that 2+ hour stream of last night's game that's on YouTube the actual stream that people were charged £15 for?
It's a shambles.
Apologies for being negative, mon the Super etc but ffs the quality of that stream is laughable.

Did not enjoy a single second of that game of association football. Fitbit had my heart rate at about 140bpm in that last 10 minutes ffs.

Leaving Somerset a seething mess has been quite a common theme this season.

Obviously against VAR in any form but f**k me these morons are making that stance difficult to justify.

Watched Rhys McCabe's interview with Airdrie TV and he says he's disappointed that someone didn't belt the ball into the stand to prevent our free kick being taken quickly. Fair point.
A quick check of the highlights shows that the closest person that would have been able to do that was none other than yer man Rhys McCabe.

Had no idea until last season just how different the gradient is between the Railway End and the Somerset Road End at Ayr. Absolutely night and day in terms of the view, SRE is slightly smaller but the gradient is far better for being able to see, which is mostly unfortunate because there have been some utter clusterfucks from the Ayr defence up at the away end over the years.
Having never done Arbroath away, I went for Morton as my first choice, although I very nearly didn't as the pumping we received at New Year in the rain is still an extremely fresh wound.

I don't see us winning, but I also don't see a humping. 2-0 at worst. You'd imagine rangers will rest a few players so you never know. I'm still undecided about going. It's a ball ache KO time and the weather is to be shite. I'm getting too old and grumpy for this football lark
The last time we went to Ibrox, it was a significantly better Ayr team and a significantly worse Rangers team and we got scudded 4-0 going on 6.
Not to be negative etc but I'm not anticipating an enjoyable Saturday.

That is utterly shambolic goalkeeping I'm afraid. Make no mistake, it's cost us the points.

If Dundee United win the league this season, I hope they have the decency to send Charlie Albinson a crate of champagne because he has had an absolute shocker against them on three separate occasions now.

Quite literally the only thing you can say for him at the moment is that he has not got to the stage of playing his own songs

The stand was visibly emptier than usual from where I was standing, it probably felt like more if you were in there but there were a lot of spare seats that would usually be taken and the Family Stand was pretty deserted

She asked good questions, just needs to work on how she puts them across. I’m sure it was McCall who eventually managed to get Somerset Boab out the door, albeit he wasn’t the stadium announcer, he was supposedly wanting access all areas. So there’s hope Brown can help us to look more professional!
Aye, our resident superfan took a massive strop because McCall didn't allow him to just wander in and out the dressing room at will and as a result, 'The Boaby' ended up missing out on watching our best team for 2 decades.

Ha! What patter was he stealing from them? I have to say i just blank him out a lot of the time.
Good win tonight in awful conditions, great hit from Ben Dempsey and a nice finish from Chalmers, too. I thought Arbroath were absolutely awful to be fair, we will face sterner tests this season.
He said 'Jeezy peeps man' at half time, and upon receiving no response whatsoever, repeated it at full time. Bin him immediately.
Syla was outstanding tonight, MOTM by a distance imo

The wind look like it was going across the pitch first half, then it seemed to change 2nd half towards the Arbroath goal.
I did think this however it does not help when your goalkeeper is such a moron that he tries the same kick about 35 times and is surprised when each one lands in the McDonalds Drive Thru.

Boaby out. In more ways than one

For God's sake don't make Scott Brown have to sit and do an interview with Calum Campbell

Boab's patter.
The combination of the gale force winds and 'Somerset Boab's hot air will surely result in some kind of vortex which hopefully we'll all get sucked into and by the time we land, this godforsaken season will be over.

Wonder what will be more howling. The wind, or Ayr's performance.
Something to think about.

Is it actually Ayr’s decision to make at this stage? Not sure that it is but no doubt someone will advise accordingly.
Stirling and Montrose mutually agreed to postpone. You can bet your arse Arbroath will be keen to postpone.
So yes. Ayr would absolutely be in a position to make the decision however seem very determined to host this shitfest instead.

Not suggesting any sculduggery at play here but I imagine Ayr will be desperate for this game to be on so it may be them hoping the weather changes a bit or that the ref deems it playable.
A win for Ayr tonight would be massive and you would think they’ll try all they can to get it played - playing the bottom club who have an unspecified number of first choice players out injured and most of their “fit” and available players have been working today. I would be thinking the same if the roles were reversed.
We had that supposed advantage 2 weeks ago and pissed it up the wall
Edit: the injury part, not the working part

The British Pathe lads filming the 1925 FA Cup Final would be turning in their graves at that. There's better footage from the front lines at the Somme.
Not even just the audio and picture quality either. After McHugh's goal, they decided to show a replay of Sanders' own goal and a close range header from Adeloye instead. I appreciate they are volunteers and Lauren is a very good summariser but if we are charging actual money for that, it needs to be a priority.
