I really don't think the SFA are going to think "We're in charge of the game here, but you know what, that chap Green has a point you know The other 41 clubs don't matter and neither do we. Rangers ARE Scottish football. All of it. From Peterhead to Palmerston. We are all insignificant and Rangers are the barometer of the Scottish game. I'm glad he's cleared that up. We had been deluding ourselves for years. Time to go home for a lie down and a nice cup of tea". Aye right. Mr Green, with your new best friends H&D you have painted yourselves into a corner beautifully. Suspension or expulsion? We can see you sweating already in that grey suit.

It would really be rather amusing. It would be a way of letting them put themselves out of their misery. They could still sign players and no financial penalties, but the fans simply couldn't face turning up to support a team in these colours. Crowds would dwindle, someone would set up a new diddy style team that represented the "real" Rangers and a split would start, leading to the implosion of Ibrox. I think it's a potential winner

"Disaster for Scottish football"? "Severe impact on Scottish football?" Er, no Mr Green.. The team I follow (like many others) is part of Scottish football and has had no benefit whatsover from Rangers existing over the last few years. Those in the SPL have suffered from years of your team's cheating and now failure to pay bills. Your team are also potentially due the Scottish people some £75 milion. That could buy a lot of hospitals and schools. So, my bit of Scottish football does not see "disaster" or any sort of "severe impact" looming. But I know you do

Perhaps we could create a Newloaf? It would be based on stale bread, but mixed with preservatives to keep the traditional looks. We could then try and market it to customers of alternative brands and see if they are taken in by it? My personal view is that it should be sliced very, very thinly............

The fact you suggest there may be "public order implications" is one of the key reasons why decency and the integrity of Scottish football must prevail. We are fed up of the Ugly Sisters and their "heritage" and threats in 21st century Scotland. Why should we put up with bullies? Or is it because some people love the 4x a season hate-fest and hospital (and prison) filling that is allegedly the only reason Scottish football can get a TV deal. Well me, and countless other diddy fans have had enough. We love football, not religion and violence. We have local, intense rivalries that don't descend into bloodshed or have to be played at 12.30 on a Sunday so the crowd can behave themselves. Enough is enough
