  1. I'm telling you, Prince Charles (London based) will be buying Rangers as a jubilee gift to his mummy.
  2. Matt Slater ‏ @mattslaterbbc..I'm also told HMRC has been kept in loop with developments & has a big powwow of its own this afternoon #RFC Could time be up for the Gers?
  3. I'd wager that there is no english consortium...unless, what are Charles and Camilla doing up in Scotland....buying the club as a Jubilee present?
  4. The Daily Record ‏ @Daily_RecordBreaking news: The Blue Knights have pulled out the race to buy Rangers after their offer was turned down by administrators. More follows. This just gets funnier
  5. BBC Sport ‏ @BBCSportBrian Kennedy says he is waiting to hear whether administrators have accepted his offer to buy Rangers, after his 1200 BST deadline passes. So it wasn't really a deadline then
  6. alex thomson ‏ @alextomoYes - the Appeal Tribunal can increase punishments passed on a club hohoho
  7. al lamont "dashing" to murray park 4 horses seen approaching is it the knights or the apocolypse?
  8. No the offer would be made on the basis of the debt being 100 million (ie 10p in the pound in your example)
  9. From what I understand any offer would have to be made on the basis of the full amount of the BTC being due
  10. alex thomson ‏ @alextomoUEFA confirm again they will treat CVAs like NEWCOs ie 3 year ban Hahaha, the peepul can't survive without european football, even if they managed to get CVA they are going out of business
  11. "Our guiding principle is that we will do what is in the best interests of Celtic Football Club and our supporters," said Lawwell. When will Celtic supporters announce the boycott of parkhead?
  12. David Whitehouse quote via the Daily Record: "European football is very important to the business plan." ... "No. The cash requirement is reliant on two things. "Your confidence in the income stream – which is where he felt there was a real level of vulnerability. "And secondly how much you want to spend on players. "If you assume you are not going to spend large amounts on players there is not a big cash requirement." So according to the administrators, Rangers need European football to stay afloat but must achieve this without spending money on players? Do these guys actually know anything about football? Also shocked by this quote: "With the co-operation of the SFA our understanding is that they would work to secure a scenario where the players would have to transfer abroad, because they would not be registered in England or in Scotland." Why do the SFA keep bending over for this mob?
  13. David Whitehouse: "On a core trading model, there isn't a cash deficit unless you invest in players or unless you assume that there's going to be a deterioration in gate receipts." Wait a minute...are "players" not quite important to a football team.
  14. Ric, quite a serious misquote of Michael Johnston there. I think what he said was "the commercial benefits may outweigh that"
  15. According to D&P, around two to three million needed per month to keep Rangers running after May.
  16. Couldn't believe what I heard this morning on Radio Scotland from Jim Traynor. Apparently us fans of the diddy teams won't buy season tickets until we are sure that Rangers are definitely going to be in the SPL.
