  1. On top of this, he is extremely ball greedy. Tries to do it all, kind of like a 5 a side footballer. But sometimes, he does good things.
  2. A whiff of the Poplatniks about this signing. Poor scoring record in obscure leagues before coming here. Took a few (I'm assuming) lucrative moves to said obscure leagues at a young age. Really want to be proved wrong here.
  3. I'm not sure Forrest is good enough to play down south. But then I thought that Nicky Cadden and Jackson Longridge wouldn't play full-time after us, so what do I know.
  4. I wonder how the investigation into finding the blurry faced intruders is going. I wonder how Crimewatch would have went if every suspect's faces had to be blurred out on TV.
  5. #PlayMaley looks likely to happen: https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/livingston-boss-thrilled-seal-seventh-26944160
  6. Get Maley on the pitch. The place will go into meltdown. Did McGhee turn up to training in the scud after the win against Hibs like he'd promised?
  7. Getting chilled out Summer vibes from this game. Great opportunity to play Maley!
  8. Apparently one is this guy: https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/8812839/livingston-bring-in-aussie-phillip-cancar-pre-contract-transfer/
  9. Hate to deny you the glory, but we would have made a balls of it some other way against some other team. It's the Livi way.
  10. I suppose farmers have to work at weekends, so what's the point.
  11. Will you boys be having a parade if you win the relegation playoff that you find yourselves in???
  12. How delicious is the potential of relegating Dundee in a couple of weeks after confirming that St Johnstone can finish no higher than the playoffs?
  13. Anderson overdid it slightly in the warm up against Aberdeen and is a doubt for Saturday
  14. It's interesting that retrospective action isn't used to reverse more referee blunders. It would be a regular thing if they did it for every wrong decision, but it could mean less needless suspensions. However in this case, it's the right decision.
  15. Rub your earlobes and say the word 'woosah'. You should feel a bit calmer! Not to worry, I'm sure Queens will come back up again next season and you'll be mellow yellow again
  16. How lovely to have a controversial decision go in our favour for once. Although I think if we're able to confirm safety with a couple of games to go, the big Russian goalie will get his chance. Not sure if Max the silly sausage is starting to crack under the pressure, but you can't go around punching people
  17. But going by your logic, every team will be on equal points at the end of a season anyway, so why worry about it?
  18. Is everything ok, buddy? angry man! I get that everyone will impacted similarly in the pocket domestically. There is the point that some clubs will make better use of the same money as others. But in terms of competing in Europe, extra money will really come in handy!
  19. For Scottish clubs it has to be for investing in players, coaches, facilities etc to help in the push to progress to win leagues, trophies and go further in Europe. I take your point that Livingston's chances of winning something would increase slightly if the old firm went away, but I'm not naive enough to think that we could plod along as we are and statistically, we'll probably win a cup in the next few years. We're still miles off it compared to top 6 clubs, and money will help us catch up.
  20. I like the idea of the world you're dreaming of, but unfortunately money makes the world go round. It's just a fact. If non old firm chairman thought the grass would be greener without Scotland's shame, I'm sure they would have been voted out by now. But they got their mind on the money, money on their mind etc.
  21. With more money, there is a greater chance of winning something and maybe not embarrassing ourselves in Europe (progress). With less money, and seemingly no ambition or hope, we stand less of a chance of doing anything anywhere ever. I can only speak for Livingston, but we could be pumping teams 10-0 every week and we'd still struggle to get 2k home fans. So we rely on away teams bringing good travelling support so we can make bank. As much as I hate it when old firm fans come to town (or come to the part of Livingston where the stadium is from the part of Livingston/West Lothian where they live), we need them and their money.
  22. I imagine it would look pretty bad? Competing in Europe would be especially bad.
  23. Presumably less fans equals less money for clubs, which means lower transfer/wage budgets, which means a poorer calibre of playing squad, which means less success on the pitch, which ultimately leads to clubs suffering in more ways than just financially.
