Yeh I've heard the pundits say there's not enough quality out there to conceive a 16 team league but a 4 up and 4 down with playoffs might spice things up a little bottom 3 get relegated with 4th &5th last dueling out for safety.Any team in the first division on a roll with a good team for a couple of years at least get a good shot at promotion quickly to the top and the shite get relegated.We should at least give it a shot if the gers go tits up and try it out first before just dismissing it.Because the league is pants as it is and change may help.

Fair point above but what we have is a diddy league at the moment and is probably much worse than having a premier league of 16 even if the mid table seams meaningless.The old firm over the last 20 years have been sort of winning all 4 fixtures against the other teams,changing could have a 12 point shift from the old firm to the chasing pack at the end of the year ! a closer fought league. Your quite right and SKY is "interfering" to make sure there is still 4 OF games a season if you have followed the news recently. The 4 OF games a season are a result of SKY interfering,there is interest outside Scotland to show OF games and they bring in money.America is one of the biggest subscribers owing to the fact many Scots emigrated there.Also is a showpiece apparently of Scottish fitba according to some numpty media folk who would have you believe. Now there are rumours circulating that make a complete shambles of footballing integrity and fairness attached to your club ,,,, not anyone else's club just Rangers. Financial imprudence my erse more like a corrupt club that got caught cheating and is defending itself with "if we go down your all coming with us".

I think this saga is going to drag on and on and on with more twists and turns but the Gers will still survive in the SPL till the BTC comes in during next season.
