"How good could Scottish football be next season?" depends which team you support don't it ?.What's your teams agenda nest season ? avoiding relegation ? the other saints is Europe back to back for 2 seasons probably. I agree to a point but there is an element of the support who would go too far. No club in the SPL or SFL and they would just lose the plot completely. Rangers are supported very well meaning there are a lot of expectant fans expecting results in cups or decent Euro run. I know of a few in Glasgow who have said if ra gers go under we are Timmy bashing coz they will be pointing and laffing,so we'll see who's laffing efter a kicking. I hope this is not the case but there is the fear factor it may and the authorities know it.

I do think the main reason why the Gers aren't dealt with accordingly is because of a good element of the Gers support going on a rampage in the streets if their club was dealt with the same as the other 40 outside Celtic.The fear factor that the orcs would plunge the central belt into what Northern Ireland was a few decades back and for WHAT ! just a football club we now know has used deceptive methods to gain the upper hand. I am perplexed totally why we the people have not had a speedy resolution to this and know what division or sanctions or if they got booted out of footy altogether.We all thought that when the Gers had played their last game of the season then the cup final things would have been wound up ASAP ! Duly noted sir and I did do some research.I'm sure these people are in court arguing "under section,in paragraph,referring to,under article whatever,citing this amendment,under Scots law is and blah blah. One thing about the EBT's that has seemed to be lost or not known !. "IT'S A PENSION FUND" in all but essence. What's the point of having a pension fund with NO money ! this is why they HAVE been found guilty of TAX evasion ! and are they appealing it on the grounds the loans will be paid back for when the first employee has retired ?. This then would confirm the existence of Players duel contracts for services rendered to Rangers as there is NO money in the fund. Rangers EBT system is not a loophole but a deceptive maneuver in moving cash around to deliberately avoid paying the HMRC due TAX. Why are Rangers calling the system a loophole ? it's clearly not a loophole if you have no money in the fund and players were taking out their EBT share money in loans whilst they were wearing a Rangers jersey ...... where's their retirement payout then for when they actually retire ?. Yes Rangers said they had an EBT system in place in their accounts and how much went in ... that's true ! but all the above proves they were deliberately gaining players who would not have signed because they would have received maybe 10's of thousands a year less if they were registered properly.NO money in the fund. I know how the other fans feel outside the old firm not winning anything or little chance coz Celtic were absolutely dire through the 80's and early 90's and looked like no hope of being as side in contention against a very strong Aberdeen,Dundee Utd,Hearts and Rangers.We struggled to even qualify for Europe FFS. I'd say yes the performances get worse as more mediocre foreigners keep coming to replace the key youngsters these English leagues keep stealing for peanuts by bribing them with more money than our clubs can pay.Also these foreign players are sometimes bribed to Scotland with better money than they would get in their league. Our country does provide England unfortunately with quality home grown players through our youth systems,proves one thing we can produce excellent quality players it's just holding onto them that's the problem. The SKY bubble the England Premiership is in might feel the wrath of Murdoch hopefully and then we may lose less of our star youths to the English at least. BUT ! we may find out how good the Rangers youth academy is next year .

Well the Gers have had their punishment for being in admin - 10 point deduction - that's fair enough as every team would suffer that. The Gers have been punished recently for Whytey only did to the club - 1 year transfer embargo for over 18's and £160,000 fine and banned for one year from Europe - my opinion there they got a slap on the wrist I'd have thought 18 month embargo and maximum fines and at least a 3 year ban from Europe would do for gross mismanagement and some police investigation and Whytey getting some jail time. What's around the corner for next season if the Gers don't survive a CVA just for agent Whytey's handy work and stay in the SPL as a phoenixed newco - a possible 10 point deduction for 2 years and loss of 75% of TV revenue for 3 years and a 3 year ban from Europe - even all of that and above embargo isn't good enough for over 10 years of financial doping to gain an unfair advantage on ALL clubs in the SPL - my opinion a 5 year loss of TV revenue and the embargo sticks plus the fines and at least a 5 year ban from Europe.They should at least lose out on opportunities from gaining European prize money for a while and not business as usual after a few years. The BTC ! that speaks for itself ! THEY ARE FOOKED there,no way out and phoenixed newco is inevitable. Even if they come back and play in the 3rd division as a newco they need to pay the piper somehow ! especially when they get back up into the SPL there should be sanctions awaiting their despised return.All of the above punishment in my opinion has to be on the table to quell the disgruntled fans of ALL the teams. Rangers will be back in some form or other so you'll still have them to wanna die another day. What's needed is League Reconstruction to provide a fair playing field ... 1 home and away fixture 2 less old firm games to play is equal to a 12 point shift upwards and closer league placings,more promotion spots and relegation candidates for more competition and excitement even at the bottom,a more even share of the TV money even all the way down to the bottom league £25,000 is a small fortune to a team in division 3.
