Parkrun is one of the best things I've discovered since taking up running in April. Had a bit of a shocker today but on the plus side had a good chat with another runner. Will be back next week to try and have a better run.

Well last week I ended up sitting next to a guy that had stallion tattooed on his hand. Today it's a couple of man spreaders. To make it worse one is "reading" the sun (taking the entire table)and the other is struggling with a crossword in the daily mail. Pair of utter cretins

Exactly as above. Don't get too excited at the start as you will pay for it later on (voice of experience). And enjoy every moment. Oh and don't try anything new on the day. Stick to your routine and trust your training.
