the dream academy - life in a northern town

Green has been talking to Reagan and Doncaster. I reckon they: wont strip the trophies. spl wont investigate ebts (Doncaster will release a statement saying "we felt it was more appropriate for the proper authorities to deal with this matter") Green has prob accepted the transfer ban, because he's already got half a team of decent players who will walk the 3rd div.

I would say yes. As a live act, there is no one comes close. Absolutely no one, no matter what Bono might tell you. Live Aid and Wembley are astonishing examples of what a rock concert should look like. Mercury was the king of rock showmanship. Watching Live at Wembley is akin to watching your favourite movie. It draws you in and the time flies. Musically they were masters. A Night at the Opera and A Day at the Races are masterpieces. Get netflix on and pull up "classic albums Queen- A Night At The Opera" and look at the way they produced those complex layered songs that no one else was doing at the time. Saw this on facebook the other day. Its a great comparison of how brilliant Mercury was (he wrote it on his own) and how utter utter shit pop has become today.

Listening to the special on Real Radio, hilarious stuff. Guy phones in and says "i'm a celtic supporter and i want ma season ticket money back, all ah go fur is the auld firm games, its the best game in the world, best game in the world, now whit do we huv? its all iny the celtic fans look forward tae" 500 notes for two games? numpties If its all they look forward to why don't the c***s create their own two team league?

Just read this: "Rangers has been handed the ultimate punishment of starting again from the bottom of the leagues, but there is an overwhelming feeling among fans and within the club of 'wiping the slate clean' as a club free of sanctions." Charles Green The ULTIMATE punishment???? What a fucking moron! This is NOT a punishment! And even if it was, the ULTIMATE punishment would have been NO entry to any of the divisions. Why don't these imbeciles of that organisation of hate get this?

Disappointing decision. The votes should have been unanimous on not even allowing them into the SFL. It will remain to be seen if these scumbags are punished severely enough to permanently cripple them. Pretty pissed off actually. Debt free and I wouldn't bet against mini investors giving them a helping hand over the next few years. Before long they will be in the big league.

"From what i've seen, the MLS is a higher standard than the Scotch Premier League..." He's obviously a kunt of the highest magnitude. I also live in the US and can tell you the MLS is utter amateur guff. Most of them cant dribble for shit and haven't a clue what to do when they get inside the box and sky the ball over the bar. Its painful viewing.

Why the f**k is this all being left to Clyde FC to make intelligent, arse kicking statements? Are there really no other clubs who can do something like like this? Clyde have made two statements that make the declaration of Arbroath and Declaration of Independence look like the lyrics for a boyzone song and no other SFL club has followed suit. The best part for me is the ludicrousness of being asked to vote on a club admission and being given absolutely no information on it. If it wasn't so anger inducing, I'd laugh. PS. Give Dundee the SPL spot, then have them swap places with Clyde.

I admire your optimism, I really do. However, I think it was on sportsound last week that someone said that the votes and wishes of the people could very well just be ignored completely and newco forced into div 1. Whats to stop them? As far as I can gather, a LOT of the dust seems to have settled in the minds of fans. Sadly, there are far too many supporters stating "I cant give up seeing my team", more than a few weeks ago. The governing bodies know this. I hope I'm wrong.
