I'm amazed at the negativity around Murray. Has everyone forgotten the the woeful 20 years in the 2nd & 3rd Divisions. Murray has completely overachieved since he came here and I couldn't give a flying one about blooding youngsters - staying up is all that matters. I cannot think of another previous Sons manager who would have kept us in this league for so long. Every other part time team in Scotland is looking on enviously at Sons and our current position. People need to get a grip.

With the amount/quality of players Morton are signing they should be looking to make 8th not 9th. However as Kenny Shiels will make it "The Kenny Shiels Media Show"down at Cappielow who knows.

Riordan's worth a punt. Last time we were in the First Division we brought Chic Charnley to Boghead after Thistle let him go. That gave him a second lease of life and within a year he moved to Dundee and then Hibs and had a great season in the Premier.

So in that scenario Sevco would need to repay the prize money given to Rangers by the SPL?????? TBH I think Division 3 is now out of the window - the SPL are trying to force the SFL in to saving them. As the SFL dont look like obliging then they are breaking their own rules to force through the solution they want. I've a better solution for the SPL teams - stop spending money on players you cant afford and then you wouldnt need to fix the league to accomodate the Old Firm.

Just walked past a couple of taxi drivers discussing Sevco FC and caught the tail end of their chat. Reassuring themselves of the continuation of Rangers with gems like "so it's still the same Airdrie" and "aye well then it's the same for us." How can so many of these guys be so I'll informed????

See if Dumbarton had known that we wouldn't have bothered arsing about in the bottom 2 leagues for 16 years before winning last years playoffs. We'd have just done a Sevco and not bothered with all this football malarkey for promotion.

Unfortunately if our SFL clubs voted them out servco would do an Airdrue Utd and kill one of us off. Cowdenbeath anyone - their strip and Directors fit the bill perfectly with the added bonus of being in SFL1.

So our First Division average is double the Irish Leagues and eight times the Welsh League but if Rangers leave the SPL will end up with the same crowds as the Irish or Welsh Premier??????
