  1. I like the socks:lol::lol::whistle:whistle

To be honest I personally dont like the top I aint gonna lambast the people choosing it though. We have much bigger issues. Perhaps next season seen as a lot of people have their opinions we should have 2-3 options put to the fans on social media and a vote for a new top/socks etc. Thus engaging further etc etc.

I also like the orange and white top...:)8)

onto team matters. Any clue as to when we may sign a centre half... As it stands we have pyper and marsh only.

  2. Its a signing which shows our intent next season. No more being bullied and more soft touches. Renton and sheerin up top can work if its played the right way. This little and large scenario doesnt always work. The 2 forwards we have if fit can do a good job against average defences in league 2.

Sheerin looks a good lad and good for the morale and even though he tailed off after an excellent start he did help us retain our league 2 spot. He clearly likes it at the club and I like lads that come in wanting to play for us and choose us over other clubs. Good signing.

After years of being a soft touch and too easily bullied a potential team containing Gilfillan, Dunlop, Marsh, Scott, Cox, Renton and Sheerin would be a joy. Just bodying players and bullying games. Let’s get behind Bollan putting together a hard as f**k team to win a square go at Cove.

Just need a bully of a centre mid.. anyone come to mind?

  5. Good couple of signings. Mcgurn was excellent towards end of the season and up at Cove he basically saved us from playing lowland league tbh. Good experience.

Marsh on paper looks a good signing. no nonsense defender and good lower league player

Now for the middle of the park...... who we gonna get...

Neither have played anywhere except centre back for us.

Mick would be a great signing for you. Even all our old casts offs will be a massive upgrade on what you have been used to the last few years ago.

Probably true being an upgrade. But our players seemed to do well against stennys cast offs last season. Lost 1 in 4 against you I think?

Rumour of Dunlop as well. Cant see us finishing close to top 2 but anything below that is a possibility. Cant see QP or The Wee Rovers being overly strong.

If we got him good signing. We are just building a solid league 2 team should we sign such players which is better than what we have done in the past.. we know what we are getting with scott/renton and dunlop should he sign.

Is it dunlop the centre half or the centre mid?

  8. All about improvement. We are hard to beat under Bollan and he doesnt accept slackers for sure however we are very lightweight so the signings of scott and renton adds presence. I cannot foresee another season like last 2. However promotion is asking a bit much I think!!

I reckon a season of more wins and not worrying is improvement. The league isnt great though so if we start well who knows we could be a top 4 side dependant who he brings in for middle of the pitch and centre back.

Dont think we have any gks signed up and rumour Chris Smith could be on way.

Clyde and Peterhead favourites to finish top 2.

Delighted to have Donaldson on sign on with the moves Meechan and Dunlop had made I thought it was a certainty he would in a similar manner. Not seen anything from Halleran that makes me think he will cut it in league one but it's a body if nothing else.

We say thank you Jimmy for that final push where he was inspired in the play offs but in reality he never done anywhere near enough for us last season to even think about having him a league up.

Where did he play for you. Just off the left?. I may be wrong but did you utilise him as coming in from the left for diagonals and long goal kicks etc...
