Because of TUPE, the players do not have to agree to transfer to the new company. If they DO transfer, it must be under their existing contracts. i.e. big wages. If they DO NOT transfer, they are free agents.

If Scottish football is finished without Rangers then that means that in any past season, IF (big IF) Rangers had finished bottom, they would not have been allowed to be relegated. Also, as others have said, IF Rangers HAD been able to go to the EPL, where would we be now? Especially since Celtic would have gone as well, in that scenario. It's a football LEAGUE ffs, you cannot structure it on the basis of certains clubs being ever-present. Rant over. Tea time.
