They definately are - i think when people accuse police of acting suspiciously its probably because they have absolutely no idea where she is or what happened to her and its such a high profile case. I just can't see what these e fits are going to do. Im probably about 90% sure that we will never know what happened here. Being completely honest i don't think she's dead, i just don't see what use a dead child is to anyone. That is of course if she was abducted and not killed by the parents

^^^^ Agree definitely - i can't remember everything i have done today and what time i did things at! Its just normal really especially when your not working. Also the fact that an abduction is unlikely would make it a better place for a child snatcher to go and try snatch a child because people aren't expecting

You need to consider the realistic possibilities though - i have yet to hear a reasonable scenario that could involve the Macanns as suspects given the fact they were at ease having dinner and drinks one minute then the next they were in a blind panic over it - do you really think they could have acted that well? And what did they do with the body if so? Please just give me a theory here that fits in with the tapas 9's version of events also

Fair enough - what do you suggest might happen then? Do you think they killed her before dinner then went down there all calm like nothing had happened then acted the rest of it out ?

Stories get changed - people were saying it was suspicious that the Macanns changed the time they went to dinner from 830 to 9 o clock do you think that matters in the slightest? Its very hard to remember what you were doing on a certain day and what time you were doing it so stories are bound to change. Fact is that Maddie was there during the day and someone had gone to check on the kids that wasn't Kate or Gerry whilst Kate and Gerry were at dinner. Then half an hour later (give or take) Kate went up to discover Maddie was gone. Now for them to be guilty in any way they would need to be incredibly quick would they not? It was moments after Kate left the tapas when she left the alarm so what can you suggest happened if you think Kate and Gerry are guilty? They would have to have hidden her body somewhere near by surely because they were both there at the tapas bar and were there when the alarm was raised so what ever they did they would have to have done it quickly and i don't think it would be possible to get away with it. Given what you know can you really think they were involved in the disappearance?

How can you say they didn't f**k up? They didn't find her they made no progress what so ever they did f**k all apart from get a sniffer dog in and accuse the Macanns of something they couldn't have possibly done. If they were competent they would have got somewhere - they never got anywhere

The police in Portugal fucked it up from word go sadly - the british police don't have much they can go on 6 years on. The e fits seem pretty futile 6 and a half years later - just can't see anything coming from this

The stuff i have seen with regards to them is the worst pish i have read - so many people say that they thin the Macanns are in on it - then when you ask for an explanation they say its because they get a strange feeling off the pair of them. So basically people accusing a couple of killing their daughter and dumping her body somewhere that the police can't find a trace of her in 6 years of looking based on the fact that they are a bit strange. Its simply baffling!! There were 9 people at the tapas bar who were there with the macanns - kate went to check on them then came out screaming within minutes so for them to have been in on it they would have needed to discover her then come up with a plan to hide her and manage to bury her somewhere within a 2 minute walk of the hotel room and not leave a trace of evidence behind!! Its simply impossible that they could have killed her and done this but people just won't fucking back down on it on the grounds they have a bad gut feeling about the pair!

You have no idea mate - its all women that are about 30 odd saying stuff like "When i was on holiday i hired a baby sitter AND had my eye on the flat door when i decided to have a drink, and i only stayed out about 25 minutes. and i only drunk water, and i don't actually have a child i have a teddy bear, and i wasn't on holiday i was at home" Sort of moronic responses. Then there people saying the Macanns killed her and disposed of her body - saying "I think they drugged her then she had an OD and they hid her body" and leave it at that as if they have any insight into what actually happened that night and just assumed they had drugs on hand as they are doctors. Its just fucking horrific, people really are absolute c***s and Facebook just outs people as to the lowlife idiots that they really are - these are people who i actually would have respected if ididnt have to read their pish.

There was this thing i read about a doctor who knew the macanns going to the police with some information about a friend of the macanns who was also a doctor - it read something like there was a gathering and there were parents and kids about and this doctor in question said to gerry "Madeline would do this" Then did a gesture to imitate oral sex and rubbing of the nipples - the doctor who reported it was the only one who picked up on it and was always suspicious of the guy after that - then it was revealed this man was on holiday with the macanns at the time - not sure how well known it is but it sounded pretty fucked up
