  1. .......but thankfully not the club of choice for the British far right.
  2. I've often found that English supporters of Glasgow Rangers FC usually have very sinister reasons for choosing that particular club.
  3. Sonia drops a box of nudie calendars into the undertakers, the UNDERTAKERS, for them to sell. I mean for f**k sake! "Our deepest condolences for your loss.......by the way, can I interest you in buying a tittie calendar for Christmas?"
  4. No, that is one area Irish fans would definitely need to avoid. Strong British nationalist area.
  5. They couldn't hold the match in ibrox. Irish fans would be too much at risk of sectarian attack from far right British nationalists (mainly rangers fans) in the surrounding areas. They're still at risk in Glasgow generally but the risk is somewhat minimised (one hopes) by having it in the relatively Irish-friendly surrounds of Celtic Park.
  6. I knew an Irish lad called Con (short for Conor) Carney. People called him "Chili".
  7. This thread needs updating since your last post. A non-vintage Kerry team actually did beat Donegal in the football final. Poor match I thought, both teams played very defensively. Kerry won't care, they've finally beaten an Ulster team in an All Ireland final, first time they've done so since beating Tyrone in 1986.Kilkenny defeated Tipperary in the hurling final replay last Saturday night, 2-17 to 2-14. Replay wasn't as open as first match but that was never going to happen. A lot of people were tipping Tipp (pardon the pun) but, a bit like Germany, you can never, ever, write off Kilkenny. edit: just realised you got both calls wrong. Remind me not to come to you for tips!
  8. My boss told me the other day I'm going to get a "resource" assigned to me. I just hope this "resource" has big tits.
  9. "Headcount". Formerly known as "staff". "We need more headcount for this department." f**k off
  10. The entire saga displays a real lack of class with Mackay. I just cannot envisage the great managers like Ferguson, Wenger or Mourinho expressing, or indeed even harbouring, sentiments like that.
  11. He just happened to have an Israeli flag to hand, as one does.
  12. Israel; the terrorist state http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/israel/11009393/Gaza-school-attacked-as-children-queue-for-sweets.html Gaza school attacked as children queue for sweets. 10:24PM BST 03 Aug 2014. Ban Ki-moon condemns attack, which killed 10 people including children, as 'a moral outrage and a criminal act', as Israel announces seven hour 'humanitarian ceasefire' on Monday Israel's military assault on Gaza drew fierce international criticism once more on Sunday after 10 people, including children, were killed and at least 30 hurt in a missile attack at a UN school sheltering refugees forced from their homes by nearly a month of war. It was the second such incident in less than a week and prompted another broadside from Ban Ki-moon, the UN secretary-general, who called it "a moral outrage and a criminal act" and appeared to blame Israel. "The attack is yet another gross violation of international humanitarian law, " said Mr Ban, who had strongly condemned an attack last week on another assault on a UN school in Jabaliya, that left 16 dead. "United Nations shelters must be safe zones not combat zones. The Israel Defence Forces have been repeatedly informed of the location of these sites. This attack, along with other breaches of international law, must be swiftly investigated and those responsible held accountable." The Israeli army said it had targeted three members of Islamic Jihad on a motorbike near the school - contradicting witnesses who said they saw no vehicles - but was investigating the effects of the attack. It marked the third deadly strike on a UN shelter since hostilities broke out between Israel and Hamas on July 8. Witnesses to Sunday's incident said a missile that appeared to be a rocket hit an area just outside the gates of the Rafah Preparatory A Boys School where children were queuing to buy sweets and biscuits from stalls. The school had been providing shelter to more than 3,000 people - the same number that had been seeking refuge at a girl's school in Jabaliya last Wednesday when it came under attack from a hail of Israeli shells. In contrast to that strike, which wrecked a classroom full of sleeping woman and children, the physical destruction this time appeared minimal: just a small but deep hole in the road where the missile had landed. But that clinical effect masked a devastating human cost. Pools of blood, some of it partially washed away, were seen inside and outside the school, demonstrating how the blast's powerful impact had washed inside the grounds of what was supposed to be a safe haven. Refugees had flocked there to escape the violence that had enveloped Rafah - a town on the Egyptian border that has long been a dangerous flash-point - throughout the 26-day conflict but which had intensified in the previous 48 hours. Among the dead were at least four children and Hazen Abu Hilal, the school's caretaker. He was inside the school gates when he was struck by flying shrapnel, according to Yousef Musa, of the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) which runs the shelter. Four others, including a seven-year-old boy, were laid out in shrouds on the floor of a makeshift morgue at the local al-Kuwaiti hospital, which specialises in elective surgery and was under-prepared and overwhelmed by the sudden deluge of casualties. Eyewitnesses voiced a mixture of anger, panic and bewilderment over why the school, in western Rafah, had been targeted. Most of them had fled their homes in the town's eastern neighbourhoods, which have faced a terrifying bombardment since Friday following the reported capture of an Israeli solder who was subsequently declared dead. "We don't feel safe to go out," said Ali al-Shawi, 54, who had brought his family of 12 to the school from the eastern suburb of Janina on Friday after it was bombarded following the collapse of a 72-hour ceasefire. "Children go outside the gates to buy sweets and suddenly there are fragments flying in all directions. "For one soldier they [israel] kill hundreds of people, and all the world is with them. They have committed massacres because of one soldier and everyone is blaming us. Are these children firing rockets?"
  13. The bloke that plays Patrick must have a cramp in his jaw having to put on that stroke face the whole fucking time.
  14. Didn't see the news today, how many Palestinian children did Israel murder today? I hope the Israelis got a good hilltop view of it, with deckchairs and popcorn. But it's ok, they're a democracy.
  15. Aye true, but this is as clear a war crime as you are likely to see. I mean, bombing a beach ffs? What, did they see some "suspected" Hamas militants building sandcastles or something?
  16. http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN0FI04420140716?irpc=932 Four Palestinian boys killed today while playing football on a beach. Well done Israel.
  17. We know carol has cancer cos she has, like, a scarf on her head.
  18. A Saturday night on the booze must be the worst thing ever for a weight loss regime. It hits in three distinct ways; 1.The humongous calorie intake of 10 pints of lager or whatever you're having. 2. The horrific take-away you invariably get at the end of the night. 3. Total and absolute inability to do any physical activity the following day. Would the above totally undo a week of otherwise decent diet and exercise?
  19. Is Abbi the one who went on a weekend drinking binge and was subsequently diagnosed as an alcoholic badly in need of a liver transplant?
  20. Anyone ever watch that embarrassing bodies live show on channel 4? Some fella just lobbed his bollocks out as soon as the doctors asked to have a look. No hesitation whatsoever! This is fucking live on national television!
