  1. Someone asked if you wanted a chinky once, you said aye without pointing out his racism, makes you one too in this day and age, fly with get shot with!
  2. Oh right, no, not covering anything up. Admit that they have a pretty ugly support but surely a bit strange that theirs is the only one ever referred to as ORCS from plenty angles (mostly Celtic angles mind you) I will discuss it with them in April...not
  3. Embarrassing? I'm pointing out he is making a sectarian reference (what would be perceived as one to Rangers fans anyway) I'm not vilifying him, simply questioning why this word was used ahead of any other if he didn't know what most folk (except Raith fans) know it stands for. Some people on here like to stick there head in the sand at times yet attack others for little reason, very cliquey it seems. Why not stick some wee pictures up for me of animals or folk making faces or something? Saves actually saying what you feel I have written wrongly. Didn't a guy call a bunch of Gers fans orcs in Starks Bar after a Pars game few years back? That didn't go down too great for him and his friends from what I mind!
  4. Think you are the one acting dumb when you know what it means personally, mibee I can say the odd 'racist' thing for a joke between friends or make slang references to a Chinese restaurant out of habit I imagine. Strikes me as the same sort of thing, sectarianism while I don't understand most of it is wrong too I believe? Funny you call them orcs but not ogres or trolls or gremlins or something else :/ hmmm. Anyway call folk what you want, I am an ambassador for free speech, on the off chance it was chance that you refer to them as this then at least now you know what folk associated with Celtic/Rangers see it as meaning
  5. There is usually disguised bullsh*t involved with most the bigot brothers write or say when referring to the other
  6. What's with the dog picture? :/ Just pointing out if you want to check what Celtic fans use that nickname for then it is available. Cute though
  7. Okay, well now you know what they will think you are calling them so wouldn't recommend it that day!
  8. That is Celtic fans excuses too. "It's not bigoted, it is calling them ugly creatures" Just googled it a wee bit and true enough, it appears on Rangers forums, Celtic ones and neutral ones as what I said Funny Mr Scorpio comes out with that one fictional creature out of the hundreds he might have called them! Maybe he could try calling a few hundred of them that walking down the street in Edinburgh and see if they laugh it off as being compared to a make believe creature from a novel......
  9. Find it strange that you criticised people last week for calling a Chinese meal a chinky yet here you are calling fans of the rangers "orcs". A known sectarian insult invented by Celtic fans (orange rangers c*nt for those not sure!) or are you going to claim this is an unlikely coincidence and you are simply comparing them to wee monsters from a book/film!? :/ I'm not really bothered by it, just smacks of double standards a wee bit
  10. The kettle obviously didn't like being called black. Rangers died, we survived, being sung by Pars fans haha Hopefully our final will be okay, day game, neutral venue, neutral police/stewards all help.
  11. Bring back the 1891/92 strip I say! Sad news about Davie, huge loss given the points his sick saves win us each season, if Ross is the guy to take the role for the next few months then all the best young man
  12. Was all the wolf whistling at the Annan physio in Cup game acceptable to people on here? Extremely sexist for me, was coming from all over the stand too. Our fans are a disgrace and I'm glad I never took my daughter like I was going to and having to explain people degrading women
  13. You seriously think Hearts can stay up with 15 point deduction?
  14. Imagine there will be goals in an open game, we should have too much quality so will go with 4-2
  15. Regardless of last nights result, we have a squad of players capable of creating and scoring plenty goals. Friendlies are just that, few if any of our players are playing at 100% pace/commitment which in itself can lead to errors. Watson is a player Murray must see good potential in, still far from finished article for a CB. Over to you Bert to sort the tactical side of things and to mould these guys into a team, playing together AS a team...... Defending cross balls/set pieces was never our strong point last season, I'm a wee bit concerned about it again this time round, hope this is an area the manager is really working on.
  16. Can't argue that Elliot and Smith haven't looked world beaters but these are friendlies. These guys HAVE contracts and their main aim in these games is to improve fitness levels. We won't see the 'real' players properly til the real stuff starts. A trialist given only a short run out is going to be trying his heart out to get involved and be noticed. I am not arguing with you, I hope the boy turns out to be a gem if we sign him, just pointing out it is very difficult to judge on the very little we have seen so far.
  17. Nothing against Bonar but he was released from Falkirk without breaking into the 1st team, played a handful of games in the bottom Div then wasn't considered good enough for Alloa. The level he played in Australia is probably no better than our 2nd/3rd Div. He has not had nearly enough game time surely for us fans to judge him? To suggest he is better than our strikers based on his two cameo appearances borders on stupidity! If Murray considers him good enough to offer him (what I presume would be part time) a contract then fine but I'm not losing any sleep over the situation!
  18. Cracking signing. Along with others, optimistic for new season for a change. Though a bit light in numbers (including the essential CB) IF Donaldson and Callaghan can come on again from last season, we are in very decent shape even before any loan players arrive..... I got 14/1 at Victor Chandler just yesterday, £12.50ew 1st 3, obviously we need our players to gel together and embrace what will surely be a change in style but I am we'll excited for new season..... Get off to a good start and hopefully the stay away punters from last season will start to filter back....
  19. I imagine the crowd will be 'decent', 2,500ish I'm not too happy at the thought of a bunch of Celtic fans (or any other) sitting next to me, especially wearing their own colours. If the club (which they won't) were to allocate a section of the ground for these guys to sit then great....
  20. Hello all, long time reader, 1st of me creating an account need to work out how to add a photo and stuff now....
