Glory hunting says something very fundamental about the person doing it. It says they have a deep void and inadequacy within that can only temporarily disappear by associating with "success" (which they convince themselves applies to them). The behaviour of both sets of the old firm at times during a "tough run of results" tells you a lot. These people who support one of the old firm because "my dad does" , when the dad unashamedly is a glory hunter too are some of the worst. I knew a guy born and bred in Edinburgh who supported Sevco because "my dad always has". His dad was from Perth , St Johnstone happened to be his dads "wee team". Pathetic behaviour.

I think the vast majority of Aberdeen fans do think Mcinnes has done a good job. I think a vocal minority get pissed off at him, thats it. Lennon even with a huge advantage at Celtic first time round failed to win many cups , losing to Killie in a final / put out by Ross County etc. Sacked by Bolton / left Hibs imploding and in 8th. Now .. well just look at them. Awful manager. Gerrard as others have pointed out has all the advantages. Huge budgets / good coaching team around him. The much maligned (by some) Mcinnes put him out of 2 cups in 1 season not so long ago overcoming all these advantages Gerrard has. Gerrard also still hasnt won anything. Now this season that may change, although theyve often started like this and fallen away later . But so far hes massively failed to achieve what he should.

You explain to me , how is allowing mass numbers of people in indoor environments and denying controlled outdoor events backed by epidemiologists as safe (plus no test events producing even 1 covid case) based on clinical judgements?

Rubbish. How is it snidey? Of course its a political decision. They have pointed out the hypocrisy of having indoor venues like bingo/cinemas/shopping centres etc heaving with people whilst claiming outdoor stadiums with social distancing and masks is unsafe. This is the same government who had pubs open for months with people packed in whilst saying gyms for example werent safe. Or the same government who locked down Aberdeen whilst letting Glasgow stay open with much much higher rates. They are correct to point out these errors and strange political moves!

Here in lies the fickel nature of fans. Plenty of St Johnstone fans on here (including when we last beat you) spent weeks saying that your team was just hoofing crosses in the box aimlessly and maybe Davidson was the wrong appointment/the style was shite. I saw those sort of comments from plenty of your fans. Next time you are on a shit run (which will happen as it does to us all) i can guarantee you and your fellow fans will be questioning your own manager and his tactics / ability to to the job. Very odd to pick on Miller for this. Preston / Chick Young / Bonner are all much worse for this.
