    I am on "Spring Break" next week (and before you accuse me of going all 'murcan, I am in 'murca so that's what it's called) and on Wednesday I have to go get an endoscopy/colonoscopy. Had this before, but pray for RN.

    When Mrs. RN#2 died there was quite a bit of money plus her own house (nothing to do with me). Turns out, as she hadn't left a will, her parents both got a hefty cut because of the law. Total farce as she hadn't spoken to (or even known the location) of her mother for over 20 years and hadn't spoken to her father in over 10.

    I accepted it for what it was, not much else I could do. Amazingly, although neither parent attended the funeral, they were both quick enough to take the money and run!

    He was actually guilty of far worse stuff but that's not for this thread

    When my father died he left a will splitting everything 50/50 between myself and my brother. My brother tried to claim the will was invalid because it was written before he (somehow) produced a sprog with his ex, therefore my father had a grandson. Claimed that this meant he should get more. Also tried to hide certain documents (such as shares my dad had in RR), took my father's car without permission, was desperate to take the drinks cupboard (probably well over 2000quids worth (lot of single malts, dad collected) and a couple of other things.

    Our relationship was already pretty poor, and I knew he was a c**t, so, it was no surprise.

    When I first started teaching here it was in a school on the southside of Chicago. Seemed like every boy there was some variant of ***'Shawn, ususally a letter or a short one-syllable word.

     

    Absolute nonsense, disliked those names ever since!
