I think he was lucky to get as long as he got going by results. His replacement no exactly setting heather on fire either by the way.

He wasn’t unseccessful as he wasn’t given a decent chance - committee acted hastily and it’s good to see yous are getting what you deserve. Oh your replacement has made a right improvement to the club eh lol
Stuck in the dark ages - get rid of a good young manager. Well I’m glad you’s are getting humped every week now as no ambition

At least you never denied he was unsuccessful...and I would imagine when the current management leave the won't be touting the teams players round other teams within 48hrs

A club sacks a relatively unsuccessful manager...shock horror
Relatively - compared to a totally useless one you have now - if you’d just given him a bit more time yous would be in a better position - your loss

So Somerville, Macintosh, Lucas were signed by Smally so do they count ? You also missed out Guy Kerr as well..
Weldon was on loan to us (Arniston) from Whitehill last year so was always a Whitehill player so was also signed by the previous manager.
So the current team have signed 2 ex Arnie players and tried to get another one who most observers whilst admitting your current goalkeeper is very good and has great potential, Disco would probably be pretty useful to have in your current predicament.
I don’t really have an ax to grind either way and think Whitehill should of given Smally more time but if you are going to continue a path of criticising your current management team rightly or wrongly at least know your facts
Your right mate they should have given Smally more time - deserve all they get imho.

Not remotely how the game went, Linlithgow completely dominated midfield and controlled the vast bulk of possession, but they weren't going anywhere with it. Ruari had all the time on the ball he wanted but there was no movement up front and Dunbar were very compact and organised, so everything was going sideways or ended with a hopeful ball forward. Nothing you'd put in a 5 minute highlights video of a game that had five goals and one chopped off.
The problem was that every time Dunbar got behind the Rose midfield they were straight through on a shambolic defence.Yous got Pumped - end of!!!! One of the worst teams Dunbar have played this year. You lot would be lucky to get a draw against tweedmouth lol

Aye I was actually - I don’t get how you expect to be challenging with the budget etc you have. Maybe years gone by yes... but times have changed and clubs have moved forward, but whitehill isn’t one of them .
can you actually tell me the last manager who you lot didn’t hound out ?
Shambles of a club!!!
