Clydebank fans were just in early as probably had a hotel in Merryhill booked last night to get in both games.
You were outnumbered today ... and your "winner" i suspect was offside.

Would you be saying that if Talbot finish runner up?
100% yes ... it doesn't matter who it is m8 , its the progression of teams im interested in seeing , if its not Clydebank in any given season then the progression of a team who have been better than us to win the league would hopefully make winning it the following season that little bit more achievable.

Congratulations to Beith , Deserved winners.
Another wasted season though progression wise , surely movement of clubs within the pyramid set up is key to its successs at our level ... highest placed licensed club should compete in the play off imo.

Would that be Mr bamford who on a few occasions has got Clydebank games moved to odd kick off times so he can get wined and dined at Scotland games at hampden?

The anger from Clydebank fans on this thread is delightful.
How do you work that out ? ... its hardly going to revert back to the junior set up ... its business as usual for Clydebank and all the other ambitious clubs
What team do you support anyway ?

Wait, Talbot signed good players on purpose? do the police know about this?
Like I said, an absolute crybaby. Embarrassed for you now.
Well you just keep on being so m8 ... changes nothing.

nah it's unconstructive, unnecessary bollocks intended to drag the conversation into the gutter.
You clearly don't have any sort of point to make and are in the huff because the wheels have come off your club's season.
Absolute wee man stuff.
Simply not true ... when talbot were doing everything they could to avoid a pyramid system my opinion was the same and it still is ... they wanted to continue to be a big fish in a small pond who were invariably winning the league and gaining entry to the big scottish where they would hopefully go on a wee run and gain substantial amounts of money , then get bumped out and spend the money mopping up any decent players to avoid their junior rivals getting them and simply repeating the cycle ... that my friend was the talbot mentality and you can tell me till your blue in the face that it might not have been but you'd be wasting your time ... as for Clydebanks season then yes im disappointed in our recent run of poor form but we will come again and we won't stop till we're out of this set up .. which is what we have always stated was our intention ... now thats forward thinking mate , thats pushing for progress... have a great day.

Very little between the sides today ... a nice header from a free kick was the difference.

They are an embarrassment, Matt more than Grace his boss.
I reckon i can say with some degree of certainty that your are without a doubt a total fanny and are laughed at by most if not all on this forum .. as the pieman"s money starts to filter away your team will soon be back to their genuine level which is insignificance but we will still be a well run , strong and ambitious club ... stick that in yer crack pipe ya halfwit

I think you will be hard pushed to find a Darvel fan that would have agreed with them going on a stag do. Thats said I was probably in the minority and was glad to lose out in the play offs, I am against the Lowland league and open about it.
The idea of getting into league 1 or 2 for a club our size was never going to be sustainable, we simply don't have the fan base the likes of Pollok/Talbot have who probably could hold their own at that level however I think as club they understand their positions, Clydebank have illusions of grandeur and live off the name of a club that was taken over by Airdrie, Clydebank have next to no history and are against the Scottish Cup as they could never win it, hardly won a trophy since they started as a club in the early 2000s. If their fans are so against the idea of not allowing ground shares, what should be the maximum number of clubs allowed to share a ground, who should take priority, if Yoket were to get into the West Prem and Clydebank still be there who takes priority of the ground? St Cadocs and Benburb is slightly different as it is Benburbs ground, St Cadocs just rent the park effectively.
I dare say scheduling fixtures is difficult enough and once you get them lined up you realise they need changed as you have clashes all over the place with ground shares etc...have your own ground simple as that, if you can't manage it join an amateur league. But the san siro....Own ground or no access to west prem and above. One thing I won't criticize John Gall on is the improvements at our ground, like wise Pollok which is one of my favorite away days, Talbot as much as I hate to admit have the best set up of any team in the league and I would think you'd struggle to find people that disagree, aye I am sure they can make improvements however at our level nothing comes close.
Now that the Darvel money men have gotten bored and moved on , do you think Darvel will regress to insignificance ?

An awful performance from Clydebank today , i dont know what Beith are like week in week out but they were no great shakes today either ,, weather was atrocious but no excuses , the only ones that turned up in red were the fans.

Don't take the huff, you won the league last weekend... If the Bankies don't get promoted this year is it a failure?
Is it a case of go up or go under?
Who you going to buy your name off this time, they might not be as forthcoming as Airdrie when they bought over the old Clydebank and insist they keep the name and badge.
None of the reds were reds, never a oenalty either right enough.
hahaha .... what a fanny

and good strike though it was today no decent keeper should be getting beat by a shot from that distance.
Thats harsh ... i dont think many keepers would have kept that out ... sometimes you must need to admit it was a peach.

Nearly a full lunch break catching up with this thread and still haven't a clue what is going on in here.
1)The most I have taken from it is Clydebank fans confident of going up this season
I don't know whats given you that impression m8 ... Its more than likely Beith's to throw away .... we'll keep on trying but we know we're gonna need some favourable results elsewhere ... nobody ive spoken to is expecting anything in terms of us going up this season.

lol no taken the bait .my point was beith could win the League but cant be promoted could nae make it up.
Which is a disgrace , if they were to win it this season it would basically be another wasted season for those who wish to progress to the LL … surely this needs to be addressed.

Clydebank were very unlucky not to have won this game in the 90mins ... how pollok finished with 11 on the field is a joke ... the assault on Matt Niven was 100% a penalty , Your no5 led with the elbow just about every challenge he made ... Larry McMahon caught a blatant forearm to the face and there was another good penalty shout for Liam McGonigle... Pollok fans will think this is sour grapes but if they're honest they'll also know Clydebank were the far better team.

I agree about the pen , looked like hand ball ... the result was probably about right aswell ,,, we weren't at the races today for most of that game.
